@virginmedia Yes, I have done everything its suggested. It says the connection it's ok, but i cannot have a proper vc since the very beginning after installation. I had virgin broadband for two years in another home and it was fantastic but this time it's not working. Please help.
-
Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England
@virginmedia Yeah, there are outages. Every single day. I can't remember a day WITHOUT an outage. The only reliable part of my wifi is that my colleagues expect it to be painful talking with me. It's embarrassing. Contract ends in October. You're gonna charge me £250 to leave. I've tried.
-
Kate (@whoiskatrin) reported from Islington, England
@aliciaverbs @virginmedia I’m similarly pissed with Sky, didn’t have internet in North London the whole day yesterday. Such a **** show
-
Anand Baria (@anands_) reported from Brentford, England
@virginmedia The service resumed after about and hour. Thanks
-
DAVID WOODHOUSE (@STRAYPHOTON) reported from Richmond, England
@tonydixon59 @virginmedia Thanks for your reply. No improvement - I have rebooted the box and checked all connections. Seems to have coincided with the recent wet weather, and could the fact that another customer in TW2 is having similar issues suggest water in the works?
-
Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England
@virginmedia Looping this conversation back into noisy, bottomless support channels and forums isn't gonna cut it. I am fed up from wasting my time waiting on hold for 45-90 minutes only to be told "we've already told you engineers are coming, bye." This is infuriating.
-
Torbaf (@JunaidJuned86) reported from Harrow Weald, England
@virginmedia I purchased a 1 day WiFi pass to use on the underground. It doesn’t seem to work and when I phone customer service they don’t know how it operates. Can you help me with this or refund me my money? #virginemediawifipass #tfl #freewifi
-
Hasnat Ahmed (@hasnat2002) reported from Ealing, England
@virginmedia Is there a broadband internet problem in the W5 1JG area. We have been having problems since yesterday (7th May). Working from home is being disrupted as well remote school learning for imminent A-level assessment
-
DAVID WOODHOUSE (@STRAYPHOTON) reported from Richmond, England
@tonydixon59 @virginmedia Same here, also in TW2. Was bad last night, seemed better during the day but now poor again, picture breaking up and sound drops out momentarily.
-
Anthony Payne (@Anthony_Lonres) reported from Kensington, England
@virginmedia Your online status reports no faults but as I said in the thread, I have called your support centre at least 10 times & they confirm there is a fault which has been the case since the 2nd of March. I am assured, every time I call, that it will be fixed within 7 days. It never is
-
Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England
@virginmedia There's always engineering work. It resolves a drop in the bucket when there are reported outages every. Single. Day. Not being hyperbolic. We were told we need to call and document every issue. So we do. Every day the automated message says engineers are coming. It's a joke.
-
Mbilla Arts (@Mbilla_Arts) reported from Walthamstow, England
@virginmedia There was a fault- already checked. Need to know why this keeps happening - paying £63 a month for a service that hardly ever works!
-
DEREK BURGESS (@derekcburgess) reported from Walthamstow, England
******* typical. Self isolating & my @virginmedia Internet & TV have gone down due to some issue in the area. Had just started working my way through season 8 of #SilentWitness.
-
Peter (@medicman2011) reported from Loughton, England
@virginmedia Of course I'm a customer. It's you renewals call centre that ring twice a day.
-
Simon Bye 🎪🔶 (@UB5simon) reported from Ealing, England
@Kezza101064 It's the old equivalent of the wi-fi going down for ages, otherwise known as being a Virgin Media customer.
-
Anthony Payne (@Anthony_Lonres) reported from Kensington, England
To all my friends who recommended @virginmedia please don’t contact me again. They are without doubt the worst company I have had the misfortune of being a customer to. If you’re considering them. Don’t.
-
Santero, human ambassador to ducks (@djsantero) reported from Camberwell, England
@DJLKP @virginmedia Jaysus, that is terrible. Was considering Virgin for my new flat, not sure now...
-
Besawyer (@Besawyer) reported from Walthamstow, England
@virginmedia Considering I’ve experienced multiple internet and TV issues over the last few weeks (whilst trying to work from home) it would be appreciated to see some compensation on next months bill
-
Raymond Barber (@RayBarber21) reported from Wandsworth, England
@virginmedia every weekend, without fail, 5 minutes before the GP, your rubbish internet stops working. Why?

Alex Borwick (@a_borwick) reported
Quite astounding on call 5 with @virginmedia as a new customer who hasn't even gotten internet yet to try and get the package delivered after we move in. Moving is stressful enough without spending 2 hours on the phone for no result.
-
Carol-Anne Sabrina (@CarolAnneSabrin) reported
@virginmedia I need some help with my mobile account and I cannot call at the moment so how else can I contact you?
-
Jack (@NBAJack22) reported
@virginmedia why is my speed saying 370mbps but its slow fix yo ****
-
Patrick Mullarkey 🇪🇺 (@PatrickMullark9) reported
@brendanbelfast @virginmedia @VMHelpDesk Gave up on Virgin Media after 10 years or so, as service was more variable than the weather and they increased the contract price as often as they thought they could get away with it. BT since. Consistently good service and an agreed contract price
-
RHR-ACEUK (@oOAC3UKOo) reported
@virginmedia @PitLanes Sounds to me like no a utilisation issue there end mate, I had this for months and then they finally admitted it was a utilisation issue and offered me a refund of £7 per month I had the issues. It went on for 14 months. Once the hardware had been popA cab my issue disappeared
-
Louise (@Louise63544316) reported
@virginmedia trying to contact someone about changing my broadband or cancelling my bill has increased by 23pound and I have bolt which has doubled my allowance, so why can I just not decrease those? You have new customer offers at 25per month but won't allow me to do this
-
RHR-ACEUK (@oOAC3UKOo) reported
@PitLanes @virginmedia I remember the first guy I spoke to told me it was my cctv camera set up causing my speed issues ( I laughed very hard ) then he went on to say new smart tv’s cause speed issues ( I laughed even harder ) it was always between 5:30pm and 10pm for me.
-
RHR-ACEUK (@oOAC3UKOo) reported
@PitLanes @virginmedia Disappeared and all has been good since. I work along virgin media now and the big issue is getting someone with knowledge, if you get a English call centre you may be in luck if not hang up and try again. Mumbai call centres read off a script and have very little knowledge.
-
Chris Whild (@whild13) reported
@virginmedia why can’t your wifi cope with more than one device! Absolute garbage!
-
Warren (@Warren43869105) reported
@virginmedia NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL JUST FORWARDED ME ON A FEW TIMES UNTIL I ENDED UP WITH A SALES TEAM WHO SAID THEY COULDNT HELP, FUNNY HOW THAT TRANSFER WAS STRAIGHT AFTER I ASKED TO MAKE A COMPLAINT.... NICE WAY TO KEEP THE COMPLAINT NUMBERS DOWN I GUESS......
