@virginmedia If you remember I told you that it was likely that work occurring at the cabinet in our street caused our issue. The engineer visited and fixed the issue caused by that work. So, it was an engineer/maintenance caused issue.

Called Virgin Media to complain about the TV box not working and to get it removed from my package. Somehow ended up singing another 18 month contract with the TV box included but at a reduced price. Not ideal but not horrendous.

  • BBLn15 Helen Reihill (@BBLn15) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia I would not have used these terms as I didn’t know them however I presumed that all the necessary work would be done in the background. Why would I keep the landline with Virgin when I was VERY UNHAPPY with the service provided

  • blackheathma Amanda Birrell (@blackheathma) reported from London, England

@MartinSLewis It is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I’m now actively discouraging others to use Virgin Media. Cancelling is also very difficult and deliberately so

  • BBLn15 Helen Reihill (@BBLn15) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia I presume so. I was quite clear I wanted to leave Virgin as I was not happy with the services provided even though they tried to keep me as a customer. I feel Virgin are making it as difficult as possible and I am paying for it

  • BobCratchitt Andee Byford (@BobCratchitt) reported from City of London, England

@virginmedia Well I guess as it went down Wednesday afternoon and if all goes well back up tomorrow we will automatically qualify.

  • MiaZagica Baltazarka (@MiaZagica) reported from Lambeth, England

@virginmedia Never had we have such a terrible Internet service. Absolutely NEVER. "Can't find server.", for whatever page we want, day after day. Then it finds the server; next minute - puff! Gone! Absolutely abysmal.

  • tlcko1882 Burnley Dave:Not woke just human.💙🌈🍺🇪🇺 (@tlcko1882) reported from London, England

@journokeith @virginmedia Good as in they acknowledged your existence was what I meant. That's how their "customer services" is set up, they don't have the staff based in the UK to deal with it and all they can do is what they are doing.

  • hodgie_hd Alan Hodge (@hodgie_hd) reported from Kensington, England

  • BobCratchitt Andee Byford (@BobCratchitt) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia But your hub has died and as such I cannot access my broadband, use my landline as you moved it from copper to Ethernet and the TV services are impacted as I cannot record, watch the BBC or any streaming service. In short an outage.

  • shaunpmurray49 shaun Murray (@shaunpmurray49) reported from St Albans, England

  • raaleh Riley Coin (@raaleh) reported

@virginmedia I have raised a complaint, but I want to understand (a) exactly how many days Virgin Media believes I did not have internet, and (b) how much money per day Virgin believes I'm owed. This should be on your systems, according to Paul (who I spoke with on Sep 26).

Looking to upgrade my BB as an 8 years loyal customer with @virginmedia since work from home requires a better speed. New customer gets the package for £39.99 I was offered a discounted £58. Nothing like reassuring the loyal customers that they’re valued! #ripoff #cancelvirginbb

  • Kirtley1Graeme Graeme Kirtley (@Kirtley1Graeme) reported

@virginmedia @mcapplewindows But 13.8% is way WAY above inflation, never mind thinking of yourselves, think of your customers, I actually gave you notice to disconnect, it was only when you realised I was deadly serious you came back with an offer, full package, best broadband, Netflix, the whole caboodle !!

  • intermax intermax #FBPE #FPHD #RejoinEU 💙 #FBPPR (@intermax) reported

@hutch__man In our road we have two full-fibre networks, Community and G-Network, and a third on the way, Hyperoptic. We also have Virgin Media but BT can only provide FTTC. Meanwhile, other places can barely get ADSL. Ridiculous barely regulated shambles @Ofcom

  • XMoisBackX Mo🌐 (@XMoisBackX) reported

  • SimonWi69754987 Code Black (@SimonWi69754987) reported

@virginmedia I'm just now seeing in the data specifically why your increase is so high. I'm not a customer, so not affected. My data, internet, phone, Comms bills are the only ones reducing or staying the same for me in 2023.

  • samwarb Sam Warburton (@samwarb) reported

@virginmedia my contract ended on my broadband. New customer offer for same speed was £25 p/m, I asked for £30 p/m got told the best is £32 for a loyal customer of 10 years. You lost a customer for the sake of £2 p/m Goodbye @virginmedia , hello @TalkTalk !
