    @JamesJWalsh @virginmedia The people on first line support are there to filter out the most obvious problems (wrong password, equipment not plugged or faulty, etc). Your goal noe is to prove that it's not your fault (device configuration, weak WiFi, etc).

    @virginmedia Hi, you recently accepted me as a customer and then due to engineering issues cancelled my contract before the service had begun. You ran a hard credit search (!) on me, and as you didn’t provide me with any service, you need to remove it.

    @JamesJWalsh @virginmedia I used to be a customer before moving to Lewisham and left them because I was getting about 10% of the contracted speed and they were taking months to resolve it. They ended up admitting it was oversubscription.

    @JamesJWalsh @virginmedia Don't mention the word WiFi, your problem is the WAN connection. Plug you laptop via the LAN cable when testing / calling them.

    @virginmedia Yes I’ve checked. To be honest it’s been so inconsistent since we’ve had it, which isn’t ideal. Therefore I more than likely cancel unless something miraclasley changes in the next 24 hours

    @JamesJWalsh @virginmedia The router has a couple of pages that are useful, one has the logs (check the error timestamp matches when your connection went down). There is also a more technical page that shows the uplink / downlink channels, have a look and check there is some voltage on them.

    @virginmedia hi guys, I'm in North London & having issues with my WiFi. Keep getting IP Configuration Failure message, yet all the lights are on/blinking correctly. Tried a factory reset and still not working. Ethernet is fine but none of my devices will connect to the WiFi. Help

    @virginmedia Ive tried it a few times, it says that everything is okay until i get it to check my internet and its told me for 3 days now that an engineer is going to fix the issue. Its still very intermittent. Any ideas on when this engineer will get round to fixing the issue?
