    @virginmedia as holding time is up to one hour why don’t you have a call back service like many others companies. On hold for up to one hour from my mobile to deal with an issue we had for months

    @virginmedia I tried all that, the bloke on the phone told me an engineer would be the only one who could fix it, surprisingly it started working after a few hours, don’t have much confidence in your tool or your help desk! Neither seems to know what they are doing!

    @virginmedia Not now that we have invested in a £300 mesh WiFi system so we can get WiFi across the house as the router is pointless. And apparently the issue is with the infrastructure in the Sotih Croydon area so intermittent broadband is to be expected 🙄

    @virginmedia And the customer service people are saying that my notification has not been received (I've kept a copy, and received an automated reply). Cancellation-by-text is one of three options stated on the Virgin Media website, I have given that notification, and will hold VM to that.

    @virginmedia Yes. It confirms “intermittent issue” after the test which a) isn’t intermittent it’s permanent and then b) tells me nothing useful before hanging up. No option to speak to you for refund/ service/ eta for resolution. Honestly VM your customer service is the worst. CSAT=0

    @virginmedia Just spoke with a contact centre colleague. They say that there had been an outage in the area since end of April and that it will be resolved by 28 May. Not ideal but at least I understand what is happening now
