Appalling from @virginmedia today! The whole network in shambles today, no one working from has been able to do anything! Just spent 40 minutes listening to Footlose in their phone queue and as I got to the front, they put the phone on me! Absolute shambles!

@ameehan71 @virginmedia All new and reconnected. 200mb then next day nothing, comes on for a day then drops to 10mb. Talk to customer service and they don't have a clue. They also want over £400 for me to leave. Worst service I've ever known

@_Lewis_A @virginmedia I had this problem and was advised to buy new cables, did that and it gets minimum 200mb now, also make sure all cables are really tight and fitted properly.

@virginmedia Broadband down again this morning in SE London, got through to customer services and they advised the outage expected to be fixed by 12th April. No compensation offered and I would have to pay a penalty to cancel my contract.

So @virginmedia won't let me leave our contract despite their service continually crashing or not providing the speed it promises. Ultrafast broadband but getting nothing or 9mb download. Fed up with it now. Avoid them at all costs. #VirginMediaoutage #broadband

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Cancelled Virgin Media broadband as had been offered a better price with Sky. VM had not wanted to negotiate down when my contract was up previously. kept stating that I wanted to cancel and after two offers,I accepted the third which was a £15 saving on the original cost of £37
