Can anyone tell me why @virginmedia upload speeds are so slow? Downloads are fine but 10Mbs is ridiculous cw my friend's @BT network.

After a mammoth session on the phone to 6 of your departments to arrange interim broadband given your service failed in Nov. & won't be fixed to March I spoke to a helpful chap called David in the Customer Care Dept before I was cut off. Can you help reconnect me @virginmedia 🙏🏻

Dr Andrew Fleming 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Andrew007Uk) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia John - lights are on but the external fault has already been established. It is a contractor that has to deal with the issue - one claimed to have done it but it failed to work - now you contractor is failing to respond to requests by your colleagues 4 updates on a new commission

  • WhiskyOneIce
Mark 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@WhiskyOneIce) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia Obviously i don't have proof because your site doesn't say send recorded so why would i, my number was ported in July and I wrote same time, I have no reason to not send letter and you can see from any data usage that I stopped using your service

  • nigelrumsey
Nigel Rumsey (@nigelrumsey) reported from Gravesend, England

  • hill_mal
Mal (@hill_mal) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia so my broadband has been intermittent all afternoon and now it has gone down again…. This is happening all the time! Why do we pay for a service which is constantly under par?!

  • PJacksonClark
#TeamParkinsons Paul (@PJacksonClark) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia Thanks KF for your speedy reply. But since "Frankie Bot" and I started chatting three hours ago via customer service chat I've been left waiting. Is that as good as it gets?

  • getpipfit
Pippa Crowther (@getpipfit) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia Thankyou. The site still won't let me check status.. reported this.. says your site down. I've now spoken to someone as I need Internet for work. Someone coming out on Saturday!

  • AdamJT99
Adam Thomas (@AdamJT99) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia Yes. But that didnt stop you charging me for a full month even though i didn't have service for a full month. Your customer service is appalling, I've complained for years and you make no change or comoensation. You don't care one iota for your customers.

  • Champs707007
Stephen Champion (@Champs707007) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia It’s now showing there is a problem. It’s been going on for 3 days now being very intermittent but only just started showing there was a problem this morning

  • muzzlejuice
Steve wilson (@muzzlejuice) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia I'm trying to cancel as I'm moving and asked for confirmation which was not provided , the duty manager refused to speak with me when I tried to escalate

  • Champion3Claire
Claire Champion (@Champion3Claire) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia I think you will have to agree this is an unacceptably long time for the repair as it’s already been going on for days?? “There's a TV issue in xxx. Thanks for your patience while we work to fix things as quick as we can. We hope to fix this by 14 March at 16:00”

  • ameehan71
Alex (@ameehan71) reported from Bromley, England

  • 190Colditz
190Colditz (@190Colditz) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia The Broadband is down in our postcode. Your fault system says there is no fault and asking each resident to log a call out which is nonsense. DM me and I’ll give you full postcode so you can sort it out.

@entrustTMF @virginmedia Whereabouts are you out of interest? My daughter is working from home today at our house and says Virgin broadband has packed up. I'm in hospital for a few days so out of touch but wondering if problems are localised or nationwide. Thanks!

  • mobily_uk
    James Turpin (@mobily_uk) reported

@virginmedia The dance has started... Had to cancel as the best offer was £130 per month. I have been offered £101 over the phone but still £35 more than current price.

  • Turkish_hackney
    Turkish 🇹🇷 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@Turkish_hackney) reported

@virginmedia spoke to your customer service not long ago and the person couldn’t understand me. Why do you hire people that don’t understand basic English sorry to say. And your services are rubbish by the way, I will be cancelling

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@virginmedia I assumed that by the way they seem to move about so frequently and wildly. What I would REALLY like to know is if somebody is ACTUALLY physically addressing the problem and genuinely working on it? I was asked to DM you yesterday, which I did, but haven't had ANY reply to that

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@miaKJKJ22 @Gary1165 @virginmedia Working from home too. A real pain. They told me there was a problem in the area, then made up manifold times that it would be fixed. Often pushing forward the fix by a risible 56 minutes! Then a text yesterday saying it WAS fixed(app said perfect too)...when it obviously wasn't

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

You only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.

  • aidan_codtello
    Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported

@entrustTMF @virginmedia Needless to say neither of us have ever seen the £50. I had terrible broadband from them for many years and don't know why I was foolish enough to go back.

  • parky1021
    simon parkinson (@parky1021) reported
