    @AyoCaesar Problem is that Sky have no control over it, because its actually owned by Openreach. They own the lines for all providers, apart from obviously Virgin Media.

    Given how badly BT’s share price has fared over the last few years, this might not be too unrealistic. There doesn’t seem to be much money in fixed telecoms at the moment. We@could have a Network Rail of broadband. Except there is also the Virgin Media fibre network.

    @virginmedia my internet and TV are down and seems like a supply or hub problem. Just called your call centre for help and I appreciate they have a script to follow but no help whatsoever. Earliest they could offer an engineer was tomorrow evening when we are not in!

    Hi @virginmedia . Since 5pm I've probably had a total of 3min of working internet in the flat - where I work. Full time. I'm aware there's an ongoing problem in the area (N19 5HY) but the fact is I have lost hours of work over this and I'm not happy. Awaiting your reply. Thanks

    So @virginmedia have refused to get an engineer to me today to fix their problem outside my house, which has cut out my internet and TV services. I have not got many followers but if anyone can retweet this example of disgraceful service I would be grateful.

    Labour plan involves spending £20bn on rolling out a full fibre broadband network to all by 2020 - then providing free service to every home and business. But not clear where that leaves Virgin Media, TalkTalk etc

    @virginmedia I was told between Christmas and New year it was an issue identified in the area from the 17th Dec that would be rectified by the 4th Jan. I have had issues since the 26th Nov up until now and still nothing has changed. Gradually gotten worse 🤔

    @virginmedia I understand Covid is a trying time for everyone, however, constant issues from your internet adds to this, making working from home/home schooling incredibly difficult. I just need to speak to someone without been fobbed off! Why is this so hard?! #virginmediahelp!

    @virginmedia Thanks for getting back to me. My wifi speed is slow. I'm on the M350 pack with which you guarantee at least 181 mbps yet i'm struggling to get 30 or 40. We do have a lot of items connected most of the time but this is why we pay for your best advertised pack.

    @ayresie__ @virginmedia Check your bitrate and make sure your pc specs are up to date any software that needs updating or try reinstalling your obs.. everyone who lags immediately assumes internet issues but it could be internal problems on the pc double check over every thing and then try again.     @virginmedia No because I don't see why I have to pay for something that is not my problem. I got a new modem because they said the old one would be the problem. Now I have the new one the signal is still poor for 200mb. Still have the same problem as before.

    @virginmedia Yes sorted now but still really poor that your systems can’t detect a fault until 8 hours later. Not the first time the service has gone down recently
