@virginmedia Yes I have checked the service status, it is the first thing I do & all was fine. The issues is with the cable Ethernet & the phone connection in the Hub 4. I don’t use your WiFi setup as my house is fully cabled for networking. I am a Network Architect, so have done basic tests

On phone to @virginmedia for 55 mins to cancel, speak to 4 different people about a mis-sold service and then when I ask them to produce my contract they hang up. Not happy.

@virginmedia My husband has called because he is the account holder and has a Virgin phone. Virgin apparently will call tonight/tomorrow morning. However, my feeling now is that your service will work for a time and then will go bad, there is a pattern.

@virginmedia putting their tariffs up by 17.3% from 1st April - that’s 3.9% over the Retail Price Index Inflation of 13.4%…people getting nowhere near this sort of increase in their pay packets…hang your heads in shame especially in a cost of living crisis.

@virginmedia But your hub has died and as such I cannot access my broadband, use my landline as you moved it from copper to Ethernet and the TV services are impacted as I cannot record, watch the BBC or any streaming service. In short an outage.

@virginmedia so you hike our prices up and then the Internet has been awful today. Left home at 6am, just got home and still the same issue. Our landline relies on Internet and so does my 83 year old mother who uses it. Remind me what I am paying for???

@MouseLiterate @virginmedia What you told me about this earlier is AWFUL, I can’t believe @virginmedia would treat ANY customer like this, but to treat a NEW customer in this way is just awful! I’d say leave them & join Vodafone broadband, it’s better than Sky & Virgin in my opinion!!

@virginmedia Not your fault, but would have arranged a different payment if I was correctly informed. I have told them but still had no confirmation- your system never works despite being assured every time that it would work. Also, 45 days is an incredibly long time to wait for a refund.
