    @virginmedia Yes, the area has a fault. Expected to be resolved later this evening. However, that is @virginmedia fault , failing for which do not have service which we pay for. Pls. organise compensation. Have reported via phone as well. Thanks.

    Given how badly BT’s share price has fared over the last few years, this might not be too unrealistic. There doesn’t seem to be much money in fixed telecoms at the moment. We@could have a Network Rail of broadband. Except there is also the Virgin Media fibre network.

    Labour plan involves spending £20bn on rolling out a full fibre broadband network to all by 2020 - then providing free service to every home and business. But not clear where that leaves Virgin Media, TalkTalk etc

    Hi @virginmedia . Since 5pm I've probably had a total of 3min of working internet in the flat - where I work. Full time. I'm aware there's an ongoing problem in the area (N19 5HY) but the fact is I have lost hours of work over this and I'm not happy. Awaiting your reply. Thanks

    @AyoCaesar Problem is that Sky have no control over it, because its actually owned by Openreach. They own the lines for all providers, apart from obviously Virgin Media.

    @virginmedia Broadband fixed - but still can’t get into my account. I joined you in August and it’s still not resolved... have tried phone, Twitter, text, asked the engineer f2f - no one can help

    @virginmedia Some notice of planned works (a push notification in App) plus meaningful updates rather than platitudes would help please. Service is still intermittent but no further updates have been provided.

    @virginmedia @virginmedia I did on three separate occasions and all said there was no issue. When I called Virgin and (finally) got transferred to an agent, they said there was an issue in my area and it would be reconected tomorrow.

    Great day for customer service! Called @virginmedia to remove a TV service and not only did they hang up they also disconnected an online chat! Capitalism really makes you take a whole day off to get things done.
