  @virginmedia But your hub has died and as such I cannot access my broadband, use my landline as you moved it from copper to Ethernet and the TV services are impacted as I cannot record, watch the BBC or any streaming service. In short an outage.

  @_Lewis_A @virginmedia I had this problem and was advised to buy new cables, did that and it gets minimum 200mb now, also make sure all cables are really tight and fitted properly.

  @virginmedia Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately this workaround isn’t suitable. My father is nearly 80 and would not even know what an app is, let alone be able to download one, sign in, enable location services or use a web player.
