    @RuthPetrie1 @virginmedia @Ofcom Thanks I don’t hold out much hope . Someone had informed me the issues are to do with them not upgrading the cabinets you see on the pavements outside. The older cabinets cannot Cope with high usage !!! @ofcom

    If you’re considering getting broadband / tv in SW5 central London don’t bother with @virginmedia. The service drops out almost daily for many hours and the customer service is non existent @ofcom

    @virginmedia Just now. The service is appalling. They have no up-to-date info on faults, they can’t explain why faults often happen in SW5 9, and point blank refused to put me through to someone who could explain the faults, and also refused my request for a call back from a Uk based manager

    @LynseyAnneWhite @virginmedia @Ofcom When they cannot even run a consistent broadband and tv service in central London you know they’re an unreliable organisation . Plus you cannot get through to customer service . On hold for hours and when you do get through you get someone rude who cannot communicate

    @virginmedia I always get great speeds. Last test just then was 109mbps. It just keeps dropping out. I have only 2 devices connected wireless. This problem only been happening for 4months or so. Before thst its been fine with same connected devices. Hub is 3 years old btw.

    @jamielusty1 @virginmedia If you do a factory reset it will reset the network name and password to the one on the sticker on the bottom of the router, the 2.4 & 5ghz bands will also be enabled again automatically as they’re enabled as default

    @virginmedia honestly the worst broadband service eva. 1 hour on hold to never be answered. Dropping out for an hour at a time at least twice a day....and yes I have turned it on and off. Everyday twice a day. #ombudsman

    @virginmedia @alistairoates Keep at them on the phone and cancel, don’t accept their “offer” go ahead with the cancellation, they’ll phone you back a few days later with a much better offer. Done this myself for the last 4 years and always get deals better than new customer offers.
