Which idiot at @virginmedia thought it was a good idea to take most of North London’s broadband down and to schedule upgrade and maintenance work to start at 9.30 a.m. on a weekday morning when thousands of people are WFH? That’s ridiculous.

@virginmedia what time does your call centre open? Been without broadband all day through a fault now it’s showing as fixed but we are still without service. Have done all online tests. Please respond as this is unacceptable. Spending a fortune running 2 laptops from hotspots!

@virginmedia Why do you make it so difficult to talk to someone about getting a replacement broadband/tv cable because the equipment originally sent out is broken.

@virginmedia No. We still don’t have any internet or TV and haven’t spoken to anyone. @VodafoneUK have sorted us out with extra mobile data. Can you share an email address so I can make a formal complaint please.

@virginmedia Better but I had to cancel a pretty important call as Hotspot doesn’t cut it so thanks for that. No idea what I’m paying for

@virginmedia And how am I to do that with no service? It took 3 technicians to figure out my modem had to be “pin reset” and another to rename it properly. Thats 1 hr of my life gone. So glad @CommunityFibre has arrived near me.

@virginmedia once again #epicfail no WiFi and after 20 mins on hold to speak to someone I’ve lost the will to live. What’s this **** hold music anyway? I want to cancel my service. You’re not the only game in town. See ya

1/2 Absolutely disgraceful service from @virginmedia - we’ve been trying to cancel your service since the middle of October and have been repeatedly cut off when being transferred to the cancellation team. In the end we had no choice but to cancel our DD.

@virginmedia I have waited two days for someone to contact me, regarding a broadband problem and all I get is a automated reply telling me someone will get back to me. Unacceptable virgin media. I am not happy.

@virginmedia hello. My internet is down with the flashing white light on the modem. Your online guide says to wait 5mins, as it means it is rebooting, but it has not changed for 24 hours. Who do I contact please?

@virginmedia can you help us out? Service has been BAD for the past month. 3 time calling call centres and NOBODY picks up. Engineer appointment booked but cancelled as ‘issue solved’. It keeps disconnecting devices throughout the day. We work from home. Help or go to BT?

@virginmedia TOTAL LIE. Spent majority of lockdown complaining about my intermittent service, dropping out during meetings etc. Eventually moved to a different provider and paid @virginmedia TWICE. Told to return equipment BEFORE a chq will be sent. No Chq received YET.

@virginmedia What Do you mean register my device? I’ve been using it for five years with minor issues. The link you sent me is useless as it sends me to general info page. It works at #kingsX but no other station until Finsbury Park!

@virginmedia so got a text saying technician is cancelled and that you guys are fixing the problem on your end. This is exactly what happened 2 weeks ago. I have no doubts that it will be fixed but can you guarantee me that the same thing won't happen in 2 weeks?

@krisser72 @virginmedia It's a trend for sure, I have spoken with co-workers, family, locals on my street ALL complaining it's rubbish. Will be cancelling i think, but others are just as bad.

@virginmedia Yeah, there are outages. Every single day. I can't remember a day WITHOUT an outage. The only reliable part of my wifi is that my colleagues expect it to be painful talking with me. It's embarrassing. Contract ends in October. You're gonna charge me £250 to leave. I've tried.

@binaryslate @neil_neilzone @aaisp That would be the same virgin media who once claimed I was return path blocked for putting interference on the network when the actual issue was very bad error rates on the downsteam and frequent loss of signal and was caused by an area fault.

@virginmedia Thanks. No update provided, it felt like they were trying to refute it. It would help investigation if complaint handling team listened to 2 calls I had with agents in Feb and Mar. Complaint relates to trade up mobile device where I was promised £100 cashback. U want reference?

Hey @virginmedia - are you calling up customers to discuss internet security issues? Just had a very in depth call with what is a brilliant scammer who nearly got remote access to my computer. Checking you're not actually doing this for real at the moment?

@virginmedia They ask for WiFi login details. They say initially they are calling from VM and there’s an issue with the service and they will fix it. It’s definitely a phishing scam because I am not a VM customer and they don’t have any of my details. Thanks for getting back to me.
