  • SamMiles87 Sam Miles (@SamMiles87) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Hi john, no there isn’t. All status pages and troubleshooter told me it was my devices at fault not the network, yet your colleague told me on phone it was an ‘area issue’ (unclear where) and would not say more other than 5-7day interruption. Can you DM me for my phone number?

  • noneybean Antje Southern (@noneybean) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia Your customer service tops the worst ever experienced. Paying for top connection and receiving intermittent and weak broadband signal. Hour long waiting times on the phone and evasive explanations. Absolutely shambles

  • MrGarySmith Gary Brian Smith (@MrGarySmith) reported from Dartford, England

@virginmedia I’d like to #stayconnected but you have not returned calls re slow speeds I’ve been getting since summer 20 but still charging me for, think after 12yrs as a customer you’d think you might want to keep me, if I don’t get a call BEFORE Mon I’ll cancel and start a new

  • Flaminhaystack Antonia (@Flaminhaystack) reported from London, England

@virginmedia I've had engineers round from Virgin media on several occasions. Once I had no Internet for weeks because the engineer wired up the connection to the wrong house outside and I didn't even get a refund for the lack of service.

  • Phil_precious1 Phil (@Phil_precious1) reported from Camberwell, England

  • Phil_precious1 Phil (@Phil_precious1) reported from Eltham, England

@virginmedia When I eventually got someone to deal with the issue was after waiting on the line over an hour, I was told someone will contact me within 24hrs. I’m still waiting since last week Thursday.

  • Phil_precious1 Phil (@Phil_precious1) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Chatting with you is not solving my problem. This is day 6 with no internet to work in my house. Your company took it upon themselves to change my landline without informing me. I have called the old provider to find out if the line is still available with BT

  • SamMiles87 Sam Miles (@SamMiles87) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia my WiFi isn’t working but there are no network issues in my area and no problems detected. I’ve rebooted, reset, re-attempted connection but nothing. When I call 0345 454 1111 no answer. Please help!

  • Phil_precious1 Phil (@Phil_precious1) reported from Eltham, England

@virginmedia All this have been discussed and no there are no known issues in the area. Since the date the tv box was installed. We were told it will take 48hrs for the landline to start working but it never did. I tried calling so many times but only customer service for sales picks.

  • holty2k6 Lee Holt (@holty2k6) reported

Is anybody #VirginMedia acting up again I’m trying to watch videos on YouTube and it just keeps buffering it is running incredibly slow and it’s making my games run slow too

  • MartinCox0155 Martin 'Snazzy' Cox (@MartinCox0155) reported

@virginmedia Seems I would qualify for compensation if there was a total loss of service. The service in my area is intermittent! 5 minutes here, 15 minutes there. Strangely one cannot watch all of a livestream if the broadband drops. While many are free, some are paid.

  • SladenJoe Joe Sladen (@SladenJoe) reported

@virginmedia Hey, thanks. I've checked the service - no faults. And the test shows no faults. And... I've already ran every test/self fix/hub reset/diagnostic process I can find on the website and no improvement....and ironically I'm having to reply using 4G as the internets not working

  • DNCLB D (@DNCLB) reported

@virginmedia It has been the last month or so. Sometimes connection drops for a minute sometimes half an hour. Are Virgin not struggling with connection issues recently? My friend in another part of town had the same thing for months and had to move to Sky.

  • AliceInch1 Alice Inch (@AliceInch1) reported

@virginmedia no it doesn’t. I was advised it wasn’t showing due to the nature of the outage- they said it was a p4 fault.

  • damokinsella82 Damian Kinsella 💙 #wearamask #protectlives (@damokinsella82) reported

@ColinBrown1968 @virginmedia The worst customer service, they might claim there amazing. They really aren't. BT or Sky now. They might be slower, but we can upto 50mb which is more than sufficient!!

  • dazzgedd73 dazz ii am (@dazzgedd73) reported

@virginmedia Yes they offered me £5 and delayed the installation to 10/3 so trying to cancel this whole disaster as clearly their are huge issues in VM, possibly you are understaffed but not a company I wish to deal with so looking at staying with Sky

  • gmai_sutton Heather Rufus Countess of Midlandshire (@gmai_sutton) reported

@Snyberwiz @brightsider123 👇👇👇 You need a licence to watch or record any TV programme live, on any channel or TV service. ... This applies to any provider you use, including BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4, Sky Go, Virgin Media, BT TV, Apple TV, Now TV, YouTube, Roku and Amazon Prime Video.

  • CharlieBrough14 Charlie Brough (@CharlieBrough14) reported

@virginmedia down again why aren’t I even shocked

  • thompslydia Lydia TC (@thompslydia) reported

@virginmedia the fact that the installation was terrible and I’ve had horrendous WiFi since getting virgin. that’s if it works anyway. it’s making working from home almost impossible and no amount of troubleshooting has helped
