Mum is shielded and home alone. Her landline stopped working, after 6 days @virginmedia came to fix. Engineer couldn't fix so said would escalate. Mum chased again today and calls been closed! So far cost £21 in calls. #virginmedia, is that how to treat vulnerable customers?

@MrKenShabby @virginmedia Dump them. Get @zeninternet FTTC or even FTTP if you are lucky. Much more reliable. On average faster too. Less contention (sharing with other users) of bandwidth advertised. Never looked back...

@skepticmike @virginmedia Or you could argue that they were trying it on pitching a £97.50 charge and that the unwary would have just paid. Too many companies do this and then back down after a phone call. Real customer care is offering your existing curlers the best deal available by default

@virginmedia No service again in RM2. Last speed test showed 3mbps when I’m paying for 500. Only option to cancel my account involves sitting on a premium rate number for an unspecified length of time. This is awful service.

@virginmedia I have raised a complaint already. I was promised a HUB5 to sign up to a new contract and for the last month I have been told its coming and on several occasions I call in to be told its not been ordered and it will be ordered now. Each time its a lie and no HUB arrives.
