  • Ryan_JL Ryan (@Ryan_JL) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia call constantly cuts out when ringing and I get ‘advised’ 5 times to go online (which doesn’t help at all). Really get the impression virgin don’t want to help! What’s going on?

  • pauldurie p2.0 ✊🏻 🏳️‍🌈 #BLM (@pauldurie) reported from London, England

@OwenJones84 @virginmedia @JeremyVineOn5 Usually a router issue of inefficient switching between bands 2.4GHz and 5GHz Can go into router settings and explicitly set it to 2.4GHz (lower speed/better range) or 5GHz (higher speed/poorer range)

  • rana_banana Rana Brightman (@rana_banana) reported from London, England

As customer service standards go, @virginmedia sucks badly. They need to seriously ask themselves, is letting someone wait 45 mins and counting for someone to help with a technical fault acceptable? NO IT ISN’T. HEEEELLLLOOOOO???!! WHEN ARE YOU PICKING UP??!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

@virginmedia Hi please send an engineer to my house to sort out the useless Hub 4 box that replaced my reliable and efficient Hub 3. I have asked the community for a solution and they say get engineer out to separate the 2 and 5 GEXT. Fed up of paying good £ for a crap service!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Ozzie_Bo Olutobi Osibodu (@Ozzie_Bo) reported

@virginmedia 2hrs32 mins and counting on the phone, I'm not having to purchase a new pod because my last one blew up and apparently you don't care about fire hazards enough to deal with the problem... but sure I can. Send link.

  • JKDHAVOC Chris Green (@JKDHAVOC) reported

@virginmedia Why are your staff not trained properly to deal with technical issues? Despite repeatedly telling them my monitored alarm system is not compatible with VOIP they still made the transfer. Please do not force customers to go down this route if they do not need to.

  • VieriTweets Will Vieri (@VieriTweets) reported

@virginmedia Yeah - spoken with them 6 times in the last week. None of them have a clue. Don't know what day the work will take place, unable to raise the issue any further. 'I'll email the local team' / 'theres nothing else we can do.' Hence I'm here asking you guys to actually help me.

  • jamesmg156 James (@jamesmg156) reported

@virginmedia Just to confirm I've spoken to one of your advisors and she has arranged for a replacement hub for me as I think my poor old Superhub 1 has seen better days!

  • zombie_apoc1 GJM (@zombie_apoc1) reported

@virginmedia I can’t call I’ve tried 3 times today alone and get no where. Today I had the phone put down on me without even speaking (I can only assume this is to get through calls quickly) because this has happened many times before. The last of 3 I did speak with but they ended the call.

  • ianrgalloway Ian Galloway (@ianrgalloway) reported

@virginmedia TV, internet and wireless been down all day

  • domoriley Dom O'Riley (@domoriley) reported

@virginmedia And now 3 weeks without broadband and still another week to go! I get another email asking to send back the extra TiVo box we don’t need…have already said you camnpcik@it up when you fix my service @virginmedia why should I bother going out of my way when you don’t

  • Fawad_Chaudhry Fawad (@Fawad_Chaudhry) reported

@virginmedia i would like to raise a formal complaint, can yoy let know what is the procedure. Its about virgin media billing

  • phil_s_peacock Phil Peacock (@phil_s_peacock) reported

@virginmedia on the phone to your support teams who tell me that the outage in my area will last until 04/08. Service Status says all fixed. Their reply, “service status not always accurate”. Also tried to fob me off that network outage somehow responsible for hub p/word issue.

  • dosscross Steve Cross (@dosscross) reported

@virginmedia Compensation is not the issue - having the service restored is. 48 hrs no service before comp is irrelevant - I’ve lost a days production and who knows when it will be fixed. Status page has changed 3 times so far and currently says 1830 today for KT2 2/
