@virginmedia But your hub has died and as such I cannot access my broadband, use my landline as you moved it from copper to Ethernet and the TV services are impacted as I cannot record, watch the BBC or any streaming service. In short an outage.

@virginmedia Yes I have checked the service status, it is the first thing I do & all was fine. The issues is with the cable Ethernet & the phone connection in the Hub 4. I don’t use your WiFi setup as my house is fully cabled for networking. I am a Network Architect, so have done basic tests

  • Champion3Claire
Claire Champion (@Champion3Claire) reported from Bromley, England

@virginmedia I think you will have to agree this is an unacceptably long time for the repair as it’s already been going on for days?? “There's a TV issue in xxx. Thanks for your patience while we work to fix things as quick as we can. We hope to fix this by 14 March at 16:00”

  • drummerJ83
Jay Bourley (@drummerJ83) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

@virginmedia Hi, the VMGo app is telling me I need to upgrade to watch live tv but I’ve got the right package to have access and have until today watched live via the app. Is there an issue? Tried restarting it etc.

  • scuttyoftheyard

@virginmedia The only winners are the scalpers. You and O2 should hang your heads in shame at how this has happened. Disgusting.

  • PJacksonClark

@virginmedia I've covered all the options; there aren't many. It tells me there are no problems in my area and then defaults to the bot chat.

  • chromaphotog
    Chris Hopkinson (@chromaphotog) reported

@virginmedia Look, I’ve just told you your chatbot thing is useless. I want you to contact me, and raise it as a big issue with a manager. I had intermittent internet for a month, and not once have virgin reached out to say why, what’s happening, or to apologise

  • 1123funko
Dunc in a bothy (@1123funko) reported

@virginmedia I did all that before I tried on here. Not my first experience with this stuff. The issue was I had a ppv bought that I didn’t get to watch so the point is moot now tbh.

  • brummiedebz
    Debzy G 🦅🐦‍⬛🦉 (@brummiedebz) reported

@shashpatel23 @virginmedia @HopeForTo Honestly, it’s a joke! Saying 8:07pm fix time here in Birmingham! If I hadn’t been forced to upgrade my V6 box to 360 software I’d still be able to access the tv channels!! But because 360 relies on wifi connection I can’t get any tv!! 🤯🤯😡😡

  • MakelyStudio
    Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported

the thing AI has never once been able to do is walk into a room, understand the real problem before anyone's articulated it, and make a call that changes the direction of the product. I've done that at Sky, Virgin Media, NatWest and Citibank. that's still the job. and it always will be.

  • MrMufc77

@virginmedia absolutely joke of a service fault with your system no tv for the england game

@virginmedia On the virgin media app it says it would be fixed by 17.07 which was over 20 minutes ago and it’s still down, where are the updates on what the problem is and how it will be fixed?

  • StephenHampson
    Stephen Hampson (@StephenHampson) reported

@virginmedia brilliant. Less than 12 months before the remote control on the streaming box packs up. And you haven't listened to feedback otherwise it would be one of the options on the help screen. What an awful company this is. Yes I've changed batteries.
