@virginmedia 4pm today. That’s a 36 hour outage, that has been extended from the original 12 hour estimate - so something has clearly gone horribly wrong. And your service pages me a 404 error when I try and register for loss of service.

@virginmedia This is not about individual accounts but a whole neighbourhood looking for an adequate response from you on this issue. We don’t think it’s reasonable to have to wait 6 more days for an engineer to fix when everyone is in lockdown/working from home. Can your response be quicker?

@virginmedia I have been on your SMS 'help' for several days now and getting nowhere. Keeps saying it will refer me to the correct team but that never happens. Going to give your 'Broadband' one more try with a new router if I can never get through to you....

@virginmedia No it’s a home account, I meant engineer called his back office to ask for urgent cable book for my address and that urgent never happened as this is the 3rd day now all to gather 20th day

@Mikeyhcm @virginmedia Not only that but our router popped back up for 10 mins yesterday and must have had a firmware update pushed down to it, because my old iPhone refuses to connect to wireless now (despite having iOS14) and other iPhones in house being OK. No telling truth.

@virginmedia After trying several things, our broadband is still down. Trying to book an engineer since yesterday via phone and chat. No answer. We've had no internet for 2 weeks now. Can you help?

@virginmedia Your service status page says no broadband issues. We have wired connections to the internet but not a single one our devices that were working fine before you started work, can now make wireless connection to our HUB3 WiFi #primary or #guest networks. What have you done ? @Ofcom

@virginmedia in Islington and have just been booted off a call on an internet issue after being on hold for 90minutes. Only two songs (both awful) as hold music is about the end of my tether. Try picking up the phone. Feel like I’m in the 1940s!

Hey @virginmedia you’ve been messing with our broadband in #RM11 for long enough. Get a grip, #revert the failed change and give us back our service. Why do this mid week when people are #WorkingFromHome ? Do it at a weekend.

@virginmedia I have been on your SMS 'help' line for several days now and have yet to be referred to the correct 'team'. If I cannot order a new router soon I am just going to give up and book the BT guy. I thought a Virgin was something that was NOT ******!

@tzusj @virginmedia .@virginmedia are just the worst. Over the course of about four months we found they incentivise their call centre staff to full on lie to you. Awful business practice, puts their service staff in a real bind

@virginmedia Your end time has now moved out another 2 hours to 1800. That is the third time you have extended this outage. It sounds to me like you don’t have a grip on the underlying engineering issues here. Now over 36 hrs without a decent service. @Ofcom

@TweetingKatzo @virginmedia A large proportion of residents are in contact with each other on this and the few that that have waited an hour plus on calls have been told this. We know we are are dealing with the same issue (as timing of loss of connection is concurrent amongst us all)

@virginmedia Your phone line is saying you do. You had the system out of service for an area update for 24hours now. Who does that ?

@virginmedia Please could you arrange for a customer service advisor to call me. I've been holding 56 minutes, and my line was cut off while speaking to a member of your team. Feel free to DM me for more information.

Holly

@virginmedia The ticket was raised 2 weeks ago and the engineer was told it was a two day fix. Your engineer raised a ticket because of anomalies in his test results which he said indicated there was a bottleneck in the SO31 area. This eased for a few days a has started again...

@virginmedia Hi - it’s in modem mode so cannot really run any diagnostics. Turns out the light would suggest there is a local outage but your site isn’t up to date.

@virginmedia @virginmedia on your portal customers can register to be be kept updated on outages, which I have done (& previously). But no updates provided ?! What is the point of offering this service to your customers if not used. Is it just for hollow show for ofcom ?
