@virginmedia She was in one location but is now on a coach heading home(UK) but has about 20hrs to go and would like the use of her phone! Her friend (on a different network!!) has worked fine since they set off. It worked on the wayout finding local networks as they travelled...

@virginmedia Before I moved the router, I kept on losing Internet connectivity in other rooms in my one floor flat on my phone. No issue in my living room where the router is located. I would have to disconnect Wi-Fi on my phone, then reconnect. I moved the router by a about 1 foot. Now fine

@virginmedia No. Ever since I've had broadband, the router (of which yours is my third), has been pretty much in the same place. I've had your service for maybe 3 years. The issue is relatively recent. The nearest items are 1) my PC 2) loudspeaker. 1/2

@virginmedia I did. This is where this conversation started. The first time I tested using, it claimed all was well. Substantially it simply advised me to restart the router. It was not of any help, hence I moved the router, which resolved the issue & uninstalled the app.

The problem wasn’t resolved, informed that many customers were phoning with a similar issues with BT sport. Can’t log onto the app as my WiFi is currently not working either! That’s being looked at on Friday @virginmedia

@virginmedia No time to cancel all VM accts before I left UK but will do so. Saw costs nite b4 I left. Assume I’ll be gouged for my tv/BB/landline accts too someday. My bank emergency forced me to use VM roaming. The world needs to know the extortionate costs of VM mobile. £47 for 9 minutes.

@virginmedia have tried all the advice from community repsonses & no fix that's why I got my own engineer in to do a complete check. The VM team do not seem to have any imput here . TXT service doesn't respons at all either.

@virginmedia Please see the start of the conversation where you asked @Smizz_x the same thing. I'm not gonna check because it's a list of checks and hassle that I will just repeat in a couple of days when it breaks again. I'm just gonna resolve the issue by switching away as early as possible
