Mum is shielded and home alone. Her landline stopped working, after 6 days @virginmedia came to fix. Engineer couldn't fix so said would escalate. Mum chased again today and calls been closed! So far cost £21 in calls. #virginmedia, is that how to treat vulnerable customers?

@virginmedia That’s what VM advised 10 days ago. I waited 24 hrs and intermittent issue became an 8 day outage. Engineer advised issue had been intermittent for weeks. When was 24hr wait introduced to fault fixing? And why would I have an issue owing to a new install in the area?
