@telnetport25com @EdwardJDavey @virginmedia Ed likes to campaign for populist issues with no success, so don’t hold your breath. Virgin media is his current target after failing with his SWR campaign. South of the Borough lost faith in him!

  • JonGardner_gb Jon Gardner (@JonGardner_gb) reported from Richmond, England

@harerik @virginmedia They sell a business class service to businesses, schools and all manor of other organisations. They should be able in emergency to reroute traffic around a problem like this in minutes or hours, max..... #virginmediadown

  • glenwil glen william pratt (@glenwil) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia shocking customer service and shocking logistics - internet down over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day . Time to leave this poorly driven ‘tech’ company. The level of communication for a communications provider is appalling for this day and age.

  • stephnimmo Was this in the plan 🦋 (@stephnimmo) reported from Merton, England

We have internet, thank you to the engineers who fixes it but @virginmedia need to take a long hard look at how they managed this, poor poor communication , o-one monitoring SM over the weekend, a classic lesson in failing in crisis management and customer care

  • JonGardner_gb Jon Gardner (@JonGardner_gb) reported from Richmond, England

@____________jkg @harerik @virginmedia You have a backup hub that you can route traffic too if one is down. In a business environment this is standard practice. If Virgin want to just be a home TV provider, fine. But if they want to sell services to schools, other public services and business things need to change.

  • GavinJPoole Gavin Poole (@GavinJPoole) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia Ok, thanks, we had service this am but when the portal@shows three greens and a good device it should be updated to at least amber.

  • gary2323 G.Marshall Gleghorn (@gary2323) reported from Merton, England

  • fitzy45 Bev Fitzsimons (@fitzy45) reported from Merton, England

After 4 days without broadband, TV and phone what is particularly vexing is the ‘no known problems’ message on the @virginmedia website. The communications about what has been going on has been shocking

  • deb_mae_ellis Deborah 👩‍💻 (@deb_mae_ellis) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia Just want the service m paying for it’s been going on to long.... East London

  • KateRenton Mrs R (@KateRenton) reported from Merton, England

@harryhpalmer @virginmedia @IggyPop We’re watching through iPlayer and casting onto TV. Pain when it buffers though. @virginmedia better get their act together tomorrow as it says on the website we’ve had service since 5pm today and nothing is working.

Our @virginmedia TV and internet just went out in Sheffield S6 - anyone else having problems?

  • ClassicSoulDJ Shorty (@ClassicSoulDJ) reported

@virginmedia Service is fine as it works downstairs in our house but not upstairs - your engineers have said that the walls are too thick and the signal doesn’t travel upstairs - need a wi fi booster for upstairs @virginmedia

  • kathycotter67 Kathy Harris (@kathycotter67) reported

@virginmedia WiFi down again, told there is an issue with router and need to monitor it for up to 7 days - working from home and my employer (rightly so) won’t accept that. Paying £70pcm totally unacceptable. Please call me back.

  • danjconn Dan Conn (@danjconn) reported

@Garyw_ @LisaForteUK I personally left Virgin Media after finding out they store passwords in plain text and consider this something that doesn't need changing. I would wager that if people lost something they cared about then reputational damage would occur.

  • Danjsalt Dan Salt (@Danjsalt) reported

The Virgin media wi-fi system on the London tube is embarrassingly bad The network engineers should be kneecapped for crimes against the internet world

  • DebWalk19961736 do what you can, where you are (@DebWalk19961736) reported

@zeinanao @EE @virginmedia is O KAY, but when they stop working tell them if you expect to be compensated. They'll be there providing no service for hours/days giving no compensation unless you mention it. They are good while they are working though. Can handle HEAVY use.

  • SiggsDan Dan Siggs (@SiggsDan) reported

@virginmedia @richardbranson Why am I sitting in my home office with my laptop tethered to my phone looking at your router and booster blinking moronically and uselessly at me? You are both expensive AND poor.

  • carterbluenose carter (@carterbluenose) reported

@virginmedia you need to improve your signal in monkspath solihull
