  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

VirginMedia used to have an executive team which were willing put things right by hearing customer complaints, investigating them, and providing fair solutions. Is that team still available? @virginmedia

  • ianeastlondon IanEastLondon (@ianeastlondon) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia Sometimes. But that’s not the issue. It behaves the same if not connected to VPN.

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia He also refused to give me another Virgin Media telephone phone number to contact unless I closed a complaint that I wanted to make about this

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@BruceBa06826486 @virginmedia Really cannot understand why virginMedia has selected to lower down its customer service quality? What did it get, a cheaper labour ??

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia It now says that there's a known fault in my area that will be fixed today. So, why did Mark say it was planned maintenance to be resolved on 24th and why wouldn't he share the number without closing my complaint?

  • M0BPQ Steve Bunting (@M0BPQ) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia The VM app says no service problems but I have 8MB download tonight on a 200MB service. Lots of disconnects today too. Calling 150 results in them telling me to wait for it to get better.

  • craiginmotion craig crawford (@craiginmotion) reported from Kensington, England

@virginmedia F*k YOU. No wifi for a week. Waiting for a supervisor to call me back within 24 hours. FOUR DAYS Later and 2 IDIOT technicians ... cancel my service NOW. I’m moving my building Into the 22nd century. Keep playing with copper wires See ya *******

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Apart from saying sorry, can you genuinely do something to help customers ?

  • ianeastlondon IanEastLondon (@ianeastlondon) reported from Poplar, England

@virginmedia It was to try and fix my router / modem issues. I didn’t arrange it, the person I spoke to not the phone (the fifth person) said she had arranged it.

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I was told by Mark in your call centre in the Philippines that this was planned maintenance and my connection will be down until 24th - I wasn't informed this was going to happen. I need broadband to work from home 🤷

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I’m not paying you for a self-service option. I’m paying for a service you’re not delivering - the onus is on you to fix it - not me!

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia I made a complaint in Feb 13 to dispute about the undue charges. On Mar 6 and 17, virginMedia claimed to write me a letter and Mar 18 to have emailed me, I’ve received nothin. Now virginMedia is to disconnect me tomorrow for outstanding payment. I requested to cancel just now

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

Morning @virginmedia, your famously unreliable but expensive broadband service is down in Walthamstow (again)

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Your phone number just informed me that there is a problem across E11 with expected resolution time of 12.30 Surely that’s information you have available to share; rather than making customers dial in to find that out?

  • andylockran Andy 🏊🚴🏻🏃 (@andylockran) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia my internet appears to be down, and your status page appears to suggests it’s up. Any idea if there an issue? E11

  • andypurbrick Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia How can I speak to someone in the UK to make a complaint? Worth noting I'm out of contract and can switch away from Virgin anytime I like

  • shaomeeng Shaomeeng (@shaomeeng) reported from Walthamstow, England

@virginmedia Your agents promised respectively on feb 13 and mar 6 to get back via writing; sadly I’ve heard nothing from them. You are unreliable and time wasting and now would cut off the service again due to another ‘outstanding’ bill

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • meulop oh **** I forgot to remove my spooky nickname (@meulop) reported

@missradders Is there another network available called something like"VM123456" or "virginmedia123456"? On my hub the "Virgin Media" network is a shared network that any VM user can use when visiting, and the network for the actual home has a different name.

  • CharlieJJK Charlie (@CharlieJJK) reported

@virginmedia I’ve just gone a loop in trying to report my tv probs online and via phone. You restarted my kit (as I do most days) and cut me off. I’m utterly fed up with the service level. You promised a new set top box that hasn’t materialised.

  • av47ar av47ar (@av47ar) reported

@shenry1972 @virginmedia @shenry1972 they use yodel, thats bad news by itself. Your parcel could end up in a bush or 250 miles away yet it's been delivered! No idea why companies use yodel at all.

  • GamerFiend_ Jordan | Twitch.tv/Gamerfiend (@GamerFiend_) reported

Apologies guys @virginmedia Went down YET AGAIN and ended my stream, my apologies. this is due to sub par internet & I can only apologise.

  • PJalgam Pranali Jalgam (@PJalgam) reported

@virginmedia super frustrating to get through to CS to cancel my account as I'm relocating countries. Call getting disconnected; being sent from one person to another 😤😤 this is how I spent my Sunday!!

  • stevenson_lian Lian Stevenson (@stevenson_lian) reported

@virginmedia Before I was hung up on I was told to order a new box and booster. I have tried to call back to complain and discuss my situation but am told they cannot deal with it and passed on to another dept who cannot deal either. I will probably cancel and go to sky!

  • fidouglas Fi Douglas (@fidouglas) reported

@virgin @virginmedia The green cabinet at the foot of my driveway is buzzing so loudly it can be clearly heard 50 feet away. Your customer service have confirmed it is one of your cabinets. I consider this a safety issue but it cannot be seen by a technician until 48 hours.

  • NewstalkFM NewstalkFM (@NewstalkFM) reported

On this week's Tech Talk with @JessKellyNT: Paul Higgins of Virgin Media about upgrading their network to fibre. Rory Scott, CEO of DropChef explains how the service works and Raluca Saceanu previews next year's Zero Day Con. With thanks to @onesonicaudio

  • crisp_les Les Crisp (@crisp_les) reported

@virginmedia Have just been on your web message service. The person confirmed that I was right, under no contract so no charges would be made. Completely different to to your agent I spoke with earlier who wanted to charge me £120. Shocking customer service!

  • Hash1981 Ash (@Hash1981) reported

@virginmedia I checked every day and it said no issues
