    @virginmedia It’s okay. I finally got through to somebody that makes sense. I think his name was Jeff and I just wanna say I think it’s the second time. I’ve spoken to this guy and his customer service is 2nd to none. And I just want to give him a big thumbs up.

    @virginmedia I have spoken with the support team Zohab and Julie. Julie was able to resolve the internet issue but the TV is still outstanding. The support people I have espoken to have been very helpful and I have told them so and given my thanks. The issue here is the Virgin processes.

    @marksuttonbike @virginmedia It's just a call forwarding service - you ring the premium rate number (without realising its costing a fortune) and all you hear is the NHS number as if you'd dialled it directly.

    @kabelincho @virginmedia So it seems my iPhone and my MacBook agreed between them to switch the hotspot off and go back to the house Wi-Fi (which remained up throughout - it just lost connectivity to The Internet). So I have no idea how long it was down for. Hurrah, I guess?
