  • JollyGoodBeer JOLLY 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 BEER ❄️🍻 (@JollyGoodBeer) reported from Outwell, England

@NewWaveFella @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Sadly gone a bit too beyond the black stump for that. 😞 My ideal option would have been Virgin, but no service here.

  • BoozeTheDaddy Booze The Daddy (@BoozeTheDaddy) reported from Outwell, England

@EDP24 Still wouldn't be able to get a @VodafoneUK signal in the ground though I'm willing to bet!

  • Absolutely_Lucy Lucy Ruthnum (@Absolutely_Lucy) reported from King's Lynn, England

@lucy_earnshaw @VodafoneUK So so bad! Hope you have it all sorted now!

  • Grad42_MF MF (@Grad42_MF) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly. After a nightmare with Virginmedia I am now trying to cancel my mothers mobile phone account with O2. Not used for a least a year. Why we support these Companies and their shoddy service especially to older folk.

  • winstoncigar winstoncigar QC, Bsc, VC & pin (@winstoncigar) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja If it’s not an experience you want for your customers, how come so many have had it? I escaped some years back but even then your customer service was a sick joke and doesn’t appear to have improved since.

  • thursnextus Anon Educator (@thursnextus) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My father passed on with covid in the first wave. We were able to cancel with companies quickly and efficiently. Shout out to Bank Of Scotland who actually offered a bereavement service (we didn’t need it, but was appreciated). Sympathy for ask the above. With some anger.

  • STKJohnboy john stokes (@STKJohnboy) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same problem with my mum and the Post Office landline. She was in a care home with dementia and the fkkrs would not budge. I had to get social services to write me a letter in the end.

  • Shaun_Baker2012 Shaun Baker (@Shaun_Baker2012) reported

@VodafoneUK @debrakidd My situation isn’t as harrowing as that of the OP clearly, but it shows how much Vodafone care about professionalism and customer service when you are no longer a means of income for them. Used to be decent, now just a disgraced company of fraudsters.

  • Bernie_Bus Bernie Reddington (@Bernie_Bus) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK Apparently a business customer, which I am not! There was so many perks of having a customer account which I just couldn’t access because of this business thing, but I just couldn’t persuade them to get me off it! I decided to leave in August when I reached the end of my tether!

  • Fetch_Ted Eddie Barrett (@Fetch_Ted) reported

I love the irony of when you try to report a poor signal to @VodafoneUK but you can’t because #Tobi won’t load because of a poor signal.

  • ShotBySheriff Keith Sheriff (@ShotBySheriff) reported

@TrudieMaxim @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I did it to talk talks boss Dido Harding. Got her out of a meeting, but problem was solved two days later. This after 6 months trying to sort out the supply directly with Talk talk. No joy. Just look for the CEO of any company you have a problem with and drop them a nice note

  • MarkMah11343144 Mark Maher (@MarkMah11343144) reported

@donwendyagain @GeorgeMonbiot If the issue has been resolved, it doesn't go on the tally. It's an absolute kicker I know. But @VodafoneUK can now say "issue resolved" to Ofcom.

  • JournoJane Jane Dalton (@JournoJane) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot All customer-service staff should be trained to at least offer condolences when someone rings to say a relative has died - it makes a big difference. If the first response is simply "OK what's your account number?" it's insulting.
