    Reasons why @VodafoneUK is bottom of the @WhichUK list for customer service. 1) Most of their standard processes, proof of purchase, SIM swaps etc require customers to FILL IN FORMS full of information they already have, creating potential for error

    @VodafoneUK with reference to a business contract; how can I speak to a real life customer service agent regarding a broken phone that needs repairing? The live chat is appalling! 191 redirects you to live chat. It shouldn’t be this difficult and such a massive waste of time

    2) These forms then disappear into the @VodafoneUK “back office” and customer service reps cannot talk to the back office....making them as powerless and as frustrated as their customers

    5) The tendency to blame other departments rather than take responsibility is rife. All these reasons and more make @VodafoneUK the worst #mobilephone operators on the planet.

    @VodafoneUK I was told my number porting from giffgaff was complete. It seemed to work then has reverted to the old number. Please help

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They are terrible. Told me I owed them nothing then sent me a bill. Called and again told account was closed. Got a letter from thier debt collection agency and they then said I do owe it and I should have known that. Ruined my credit rating and not been able to get credit since.

    @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot surely you should have an ' account holder deceased' button on every account /record that your admin Staffa access and action quickly and easily without insensitive questions to bereaved relatives ? YOU NEED TO FIX THIS QUICKLY !

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had same experience after my husband died. Wasn’t Vodaphine, it was TalkTalkmor whatever it was called at the time. Eventually passed to my lawyer who got it sorted out. She advised this is common issue with mobile companies.

    @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Just sold my shares in Vodafone. I switched away as a customer 5 years ago from bad service but hung on to shares hoping they’d improve. They clearly haven’t so shares sold now.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They are all appalling these days . The best way of dealing with them is via signed for mail, giving them 28 days to close your account. Did this with Virgin. They still rang me everyday trying to make me cancel. Bloody nightmare company.Glad you got it sorted.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I've experienced very similar attitude when I had a problem with cancelling an account!! I'll never use them again...I presume they must be making so much money they can't be bothered!!

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK A terrible story, but Vodaphone is not the only company with this attitude toward customers. In the US, it took a friend and me over 14 hours to get a Comcast cable contract canceled. We were both calling. And try calling to cancel a subscription to a Murdoch rag, even WSJ or FT.
