  • LoveLifeLoveNHS It's me (@LoveLifeLoveNHS) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot My firm belief is that you couldn’t give a ****. You’re only grovelling now (and pretty badly at that) because George has the platform to cause you reputational damage.

  • _Leyanelle_ Leya 🟥🟪⬜️🟩🟧 (@_Leyanelle_) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I am so sorry George, this is horrible X

  • wtj1971 Wade Jones (@wtj1971) reported

@therealkarene @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly the same happened to my Mum when she tried to cancel my Dads number after he passed away! They would only talk to him! After we had eventually sorted it, all other accounts were cancelled, will never use them again.

  • G4rve Garve Scott-Lodge (@G4rve) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK When my mum died and I phoned the various companies she had subscriptions with, Sky's support could not have been more helpful and even (unprompted) refunded the unused portion of the last month. Totally changed my view of a company I previously despised. Aspire to this Vodafone.

  • Yeester15 Doctor Yeester 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💞🇺🇦🌻🌻🌻 (@Yeester15) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I used to work for them and when I did, we would fax a copy of death certificate and they closed accounts. This was still the case when my friend had to close down her mums account last year. I don't know why they are making this hard for you. Absolutely disgraceful.

  • manningthemoon Ross Manning (@manningthemoon) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry for your loss, when my father in law passed away last year, I called up a network who uses these as their carrier only to be asked if I wanted to upgrade. Compassion is rare these days. Hope you get it sorted it shouldn’t have been this difficult

  • jchi48 Jon 🇪🇺 (@jchi48) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry for loss. For what it's worth, I recommend @O2 I've never had a problem with them, customer service always very good.

  • NWcreative Nick (@NWcreative) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Hilariously bad response. A senior manager should have called and addressed this personally. You suggest a BOT…. Even when presented with an opportunity to do well, to improve, you missed it.

  • JanetBrien Janet Brien (@JanetBrien) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK You are not responsible for somebody's debt unless it's a joint loan. I had a similar thing with a mail order company after my mum died. My dad kept paying and they were very rude when I phoned them to say he wouldn't be paying any more

  • aNorfolkLass 𝔼𝕞𝕞𝕒 💙 (@aNorfolkLass) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK And never did I ever have a problem with the bereavement team. They were always exceptional. It's sad to hear someone has had a different experience.
