Buffy (@Buffstar) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It doesn't stop big companies treating people like crap when a loved one dies but if you're able to get a pak code, get a free/cheap payg sim, register it and use the pak code to swap the number the contract will end!

Nancy McNally (@NancyinRome) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK All I have to say is, Vodafone Italy is probably just as bad. I had to cancel all my automatic payments with them, as every month I got bills of 200+ Euro for Internet and mobiles that had a 'fixed fee' of about 24 Euro. My sincerest condolences and take care of your dear Dad.
-
adrian warren (@apgloria) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Try leaving BT Sport, I had a full blown row with a very aggressive idiot on the other end of the line, I will never go near them again
-
Adam (@HighburyHawk) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are liars. I used to get such weak signal where I lived, and for 8 months all they said was this is a temporary issue in the area thatβs being addressed. Switched to EE & never looked back.
-
fiona brown (@missisbee) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Seems to be a problem with other phone providers too. Months after we sent my dadβs death certificate etc phone company threatened my mum with debt collectors and kept asking to speak to my dad! Only got sorted when we threatened them with going to the regulator.

Eastcountrybookworm - Bibliophile (@1ECBW) reported@VodafoneUK @abrighterbeat That is a stupid reply. She has been telling you for six years!!!
-
Rantometer (@Rantcentric) reported@radioheadjen @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Going into their store in Bournemouth just as bad. They inquired why I was there, then insisted other customers get served before me because my issue would take longer than ten minutes. I was waiting over an hour to be served.

πΈπππππ (@angelakittycat) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had to contact all the agencies after a relative died before lockdown, all very helpful and had deets to deal with it. Some customer services were also very sympathetic and truly sorry for loss. Surprised me that it wasn't more unemotional call handlers.
-
Dave πππ (@Dax1978Dave) reported@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a very similar situation with @ScottishPower THE single worst company I had to deal with at a very difficult time after my mum died in February.

Rantometer (@Rantcentric) reported@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You misunderstand. He doesn't want to have to jump through another hundred hoops in the hope of getting a result. He wants YOU to take ownership of the problem, have ONE person deal with it until it's resolved. It's called customer services, not: minimal effort until they go away
