Hi @Beer52HQ trying to cancel after taking up a promotion from @VodafoneUK , no answer on your phone line, no reply to email, no reply to dm on here. The terms said I could cancel on my online account but there’s no option to cancel just a phone number which you don’t answer

@VodafoneUK gives a text offering super fast broadband with higher speeds then I get or money off. Think it may be a slight infrastructure upgrade by @WeAreOpenreach before they can offer that In the countryside. So never will happen unless they like to offer it 4 free.

@VodafoneUK Issue is, I don’t have 30 mins spare to chat to agent online. Sure I’m not the only one complaining about this. Your telephone line is useless. No option to get through to actual people unless threatening to leave.

So I called @VodafoneUK yesterday to upgrade. Systems went down and never called back to complete transaction. So after 10 years I’m not worth a callback? Just a text saying sorry about the technical difficulties? Guessing I’ll switch networks …. Very poor

@VodafoneUK when someone from your sales team contacts a customer (me) trying to sell me broadband but I’m not interested why do they need to try and argue because yours is £20 odd. When I said I wasn’t interested he wasn’t having it resulting me having to hang up.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Shame on you Vodafone, what George Monbiot had to go through, along with thousands of others is clearly not due to errors but rather to shameful business practices.

@VodafoneUK Just read the Guardian article about your Customer Care, so that is 2 more accounts that you won't be getting.
-

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK He then had to threaten revealing this awful treatment to the media and his MP.

@GeorgeMonbiot @SueSuezep @VodafoneUK That is disgusting. Take it to the Ombudsman Service.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They set debt collectors on me when I tried to cancel. Ended up paying £150 I didn’t owe to make it stop as affecting my credit rating and endlessly being put on hold was driving me round the bend.Your experience obvs far worse -appalling.

@Claytoncast @VodafoneUK Hahaha, E-On's customer services department may well be sharing office space with them soon... if not already.

@AlertRedcar @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes. The point is that they accept nothing, will only talk to one person, (even if confused), and are hostile and unpleasant. They keep accounts going and set debt collectors on people quickly and without notice. Vodafone, it appears, have not a **** to give.
