    @benjaminshearn @VodafoneUK Mate I was in a hotel in Newbury a few years ago and I listened to their staff enjoying their colleagues stories about customer complaints. I cancelled my account the same week.

    @VodafoneUK after 20 years of being a loyal customer, I am mis-sold and mislead into taking out a phone package. Customer service 0% no offers to reimburse or recognise my complaint. Only left to complain to @CTSI_UK and hope others aren’t mislead in the same way

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Wouldn't touch @VodafoneUK with a barge pole anyway, but thanks for the heads-up. Customer service has to improve in this and other sectors. Name and shame is the only weapon we have as overlooked and exploited consumers.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @KathyBurke @VodafoneUK How awful, so stressful. After my mum died the gym she went to refused to cancel her membership, fortunately it was a physical building where I was able to go to & make a scene so they relented. It makes an already difficult situation worse. I hope you can get it resolved soon.

    @VodafoneUK Wow. How about you contact customers first about any monies you think are owed rather than 1st contact being from a debt agency? Account in wife’s name, works office hours, you keep calling her during office hours now you’ve closed complaint as she’s not picked up. Around we go.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It’s time the key utility-type services get regulated like the financial service. If you couldn’t cancel the insurance on that phone the FOS would be awarding you compensation by now but the big until it’s companies have us by the short and curlies…

    @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Numerous times this year, we have only received barely adequate service from different UK companies by taking to Twitter. Only then, have we had satisfaction. Service standards in the UK are woeful. Do better!

    @GeorgeMonbiot @KathyBurke @VodafoneUK All companies should have a good department to assist following bereavement, sadly they don’t when my husband died being asked to guess passwords or memorable info for someone else is just awful. Sorry for your loss and I hope you get sorted
