@BBCBreakfast @NinaWarhurst @scottpetty @VodafoneUK O2 and VF already share and 3 and EE already share so it's a poor analogy

@DarranMcC @VodafoneUK Might not be any connection with your issue but I know there is a new 17.5m tower with planning approval at the filling station just down from the church. It will be used by VF and O2 for 4G don't know if it's built yet.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I feel for you, recently found that 3 had billed me for over a year after I cancelled an account, their excuse, no other mobile company activated the code to activate a transfer so they restarted my contract. I wasn’t aware I was legally required to goto another network.

Carol B 💙🌻🇺🇦🌻🇺🇦 (@CB0783) reported
@alaaa99 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Cancelling my husband's bank accounts/ transfering joint to sole was nearly as bad. All of them insisted I make an appointment and visit a branch with previous statements. Just what I needed whilst trying to deal with the loss of what had been the better half of me for 34 years.
-
Chris etty (@Jerrythejunker) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @micheal_olainn @VodafoneUK Sorry to hear this George. The problem, to maximise profit these companies take the human out of the equation an by so doing, the humane. Everything is weighted against you not ringing - e mails, comminity pages, useless char BT’s and long telephone waits
-
Lesley Dixon (@LesleyD31022980) reported
@mulletmas @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same experience a few years ago. Vodaphone backed down on our cancellation argument, gave me a credit note to cancel last alleged unpaid invoice, but still put two black marks on my otherwise unblemished credit history which they refused to move. Would never use them
-
November_Echo PC (@whiskey_pc) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Customer service no longer exists in the UK - the same with @virginmedia as well, it’s all automated ‘press this button’ and nothing gets sorted, then the people you do talk with have no interest in helping. I’m sorry for your loss & this sort of attitude doesn’t help at all
-
Nicholas Griffin (@ngriffin_uk) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Oh and when they said that it had been cancelled, it actually hadn’t and they charged me again a month later… Absolutely terrible.
-
D Cruthine 🇵🇸 (@shimmerinlights) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Absolutely agree. I left them after they failed to cap or even let me know my usage during one month suddenly rose to over £200, whereas my normal monthly bill was £30. Completely rude and unhelpful customer service. I left and always advise others not to join them.
-
JonPearl (@Concordian11) reported
@MatthewStadlen @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone also beastly to my 90 year old mum. Charged her for services she didn’t order, even she cancelled. Appalling customer service.
-
Jane Smith (@Mahjongmaster54) reported
4 months after my mother passed away, @VodafoneUK still won't cancel her account Our calls when we finally get through have been met with extreme rudeness and aggression and demands that my frail confused father answers impossible irrelevant questions But it gets worse

Cyber Seagull (@Cyber_Seagull) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Not surprised. Vodafone are a horrible company. By far the worst of the big 4. They must base their business model on fear, chaos and overspends. I’m in the process of closing the accounts for 3 companies. The day I never have to deal with them again the better 🤬
