@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had similar issues with my Dad's estate. It's hard to get through online or phone as you need to be the person. Sometimes organisations have 'bereavement departments' which helps. Took 5 days phoning/emailing. Today a letter re council tax, but his house is sold!

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot For a communications company, you are exceptionally bad at communicating. This interaction shows repeated gross misunderstandings on your part, at best, or more likely toxic policies towards your customers.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry for your loss. Had horrific issues with @VodafoneUK where my husband was charged 2 years for a phantom account. Would never ever go near Vodafone again.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Would not use Vodafone if they were the last provider available - previous issues and poor customer service

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I'm so sorry George. This is appalling and inhuman service. I have a Vodafone account and recently tried to sort out a roaming deal for my holiday. Online was the only option and their app was not working. It was an absolute nightmare and took me almost 2 hours. Awful experience.

@GeorgeMonbiot @NickCohen4 @VodafoneUK Awful. You have my sympathy. I was lucky enough not to encounter anything like this when my mum died last year.

@IainTrundle @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK The concept of "customer service" is largely dead. It has been replaced by "extract as much as you can from the mugs and treat them like dirt". All "enhanced" by "how did we do" surveys....it's a disgusting farce and symptomatic of modern Britain.
