So it has now been three weeks and @VodafoneIreland still has not ported over my number. They don't seem to have any customer care team & I've already went back to the store and it still hasn't been fixed. @VodafoneUK @VodafoneCust

@VodafoneIreland @VodafoneUK it’s very disappointing and frustrating how you are delaying me to move to another network -when my contract has fully lapsed #poorcustomerservice #Vodafone

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • johniec19 John from Brum (@johniec19) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Massive sympathy but the truth is most companies just rely on the technology to provide customer service. When it goes wrong service is woeful. Leave Vodafone or Lloyds Bank or Virgin media etc etc and expect to get the same crap service at the new company.

  • JFRitte Jeeeeem FR 🇺🇦 (@JFRitte) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I want from Vodafone to Virgin. People complain about the service a bit, but I’ve never looked back

  • ronportnoir Ron Portnoir🏴‍☠️☮️ (@ronportnoir) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes, I’d say it is the corporate strategy, I had a nightmare experience years ago with Vodafone, you think you’ve sorted the problem out with them, and then they ring up again with no recollection of your previous interaction. Kafka-esque financial shakedown. Don’t pay.

  • fliegerrick Lost in Space. #FBPE #FBPPR 💙 (@fliegerrick) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot From a shareholders younger to get a grip. I would like to know why your staff were rude as described.

  • Bretheren Steve Smith (@Bretheren) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Awful response which only exacerbates the frustration I would imagine. Anyway I am now out now at my imminent contract end date

  • segar_petal Petal (@segar_petal) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Virgin the same. Mum in hospital. They changed from 4 to 5g cut her phone off. Had never sent her a new sim. I asked them to send new sim to her address. Never asked for anything else. Yet they wouldn’t do, what they should have already done, using GDPR as stupid excuse.

  • MatthewStadlen Matthew Stadlen (@MatthewStadlen) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone treated me appallingly until I got in touch with them via Twitter. At which point, things improved. Corporate bullying. Awful.

  • minkowskiorigin baybelfish (@minkowskiorigin) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a very similar experience when my partner was terminally ill. They claim GDPR is the problem but I think common humanity should take precedence in this context.

  • SheonaG Feminazgûl: Supreme Commander of Everything 🕷 (@SheonaG) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Copy - and I can't belive I'm saying this - Sky customer service on this. Dad died. I called to cancel. The first contact said "we're very sorry for your loss" and immediately connected us to a tep trained in handling this type of thing. All very patient, respectful & efficient.

  • keithpp Keith Parkins (@keithpp) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I am sorry to hear George that you and your father have been put through this stress by tax-dodging cowboys Vodafone. Follow my example, NEVER take out a contract, use Pay As You Go. You took the right steps, cancel the contract. @Ofcom
