Anyone else had this issue with @VodafoneUK I’ve been with them for a very long time.I wanted to leave them years ago for various reasons, but they apologised and offered me a deal I couldn’t refuse so I signed up to a new contract. Now discovered I’m paying £80pm@MoneyTelegraph

@VodafoneUK You need to take down your TV adds with iPhone 11 (as you don’t have any!!)I ordered one with new contract over 3 weeks ago and was told I’ll have it in 1 to 2 days, then emailed out of stock, still waiting and now going away for a couple of weeks!!

@VodafoneUK @onecom so you sold my father, who has dementia, a plan and when his wife called up to cancel and explain she was told she had to pay and if she didn’t there would be ‘consequences’. Is threatening dementia patients and their families part of your business model?

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK You have significant follower influence. I would sue for reputational damage wasting time at £100 an hour. Vodaphone and Virgin take someone like you as being just an ordinary customer. Their risk and they need to pay for it.

@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK Yeah this is just to transfer me to a normal claim customer account!Pretty disgusted, I refuse so he offered the transfer for half the price! Why do I have to pay to be a average customer not needing reasonable adjustments to cater for my format needs

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Glad you got this sorted, awful company

@adri_port @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Ought/should - but they don’t. Vodafone were great for my family - but I’ve got a similar example with Halifax who were just awful to deal with in person and on the phone.

@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK Can then I get a letter saying I owe them an outstanding amount for the account-in print format when I have been very clear that I need everything sent me an email text form! This time I wrote them a letter of complaint detailing all the hassle I have had over the years!

@TonzerWee @VodafoneUK I had an issue with them. I was given permission by my mum to speak to them on her behalf. She would have to give her date of birth for this to be able to happen. The lady on the phone told my mum her date was wrong 🤔 Awful company

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK As a general rule of thumb when big corporates are tough to navigate contact the ceo, I now have have 18 months free Wi-Fi because I lodged a ceo complaint. Can usually find a ceo email address with a bit of searching on Google.

@GeorgeMonbiot Dark humour aside, this is ridiculous. @VodafoneUK (the company not the poor people fielding the social media account - bless them) need to have a better policy on ending accounts when the account holder is deceased. Why can other places like banks etc do this but not them?
-
Bernie Reddington
(@Bernie_Bus) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK I make a complaint and get transferred to the business department again where I have to go through the whole thing from scratch that I’m not a business customer and I’m just there because I need accessible statements! Advisor tells me he can easily transfer me if I pay £120!
