If you buying a new phone please be aware that the customer service that @VodafoneUK offer is terrible I was told I’ll get a call back from a manager within 24 hours 9 days later still nothing. After being lied to by two managers. Not what u expect when you need help

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t surprise me at all. My mother died in 2003 and trying to close her BT landline account was a nightmare. The person I spoke to kept saying “we need to speak to the customer”! Finally I went into the BT sales centre saw a charming lady and in 20 minutes I had finished.

@VodafoneUK all myself, husband an 3 kids on voda, I'm in hospital for 3-5 days, do you do any deals or free same network calls for loyal customers like say 02 do (or did when I was with them for over 15 years? Just don't want my phone to run dry after a few days? Thank you x

At Star City in Birmingham, outside and can only get 3G. Come on @VodafoneUK , get your 4G network up to scratch before sorting out 5G (particularly as that roll out is slow).

If you have a Vodafone mobile they'll give you unlimited data for a month (for hotspotting) if you ask. Not a great help if you're on another network or relying on ethernet tho. BTW their estimate is 24-48hr outage.

@VodafoneUK You really need to train your UK call centre staff better. Despite their insistance, when requested by a customer like me, it absolutely is possible to remove the customer's name from your database for future sales calls. Failure to do so is a breach of GDPR.
