Daniel Lucy-Lloyd (@bobofgold) reported from Arnside, England
@VodafoneUK Yes @SkySportsMobile have been aware of these issues since the end of last year and have been promising an update to fix it. The app hasn't been updated since October 2019. You used to be able to force the app to v2.4 but login doesn't work on that version any more.

@hitchhiker130 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK They're not, you've just not had enough of a problem with them yet. They accused me of making up my mum's death, on the day of her funeral, in order to get out of the contract

Fishandjam (@fishandjam) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK stroppy letter to CEO office before they would sort it out. (EDF Energy, by contrast, were sympathetic, helpful and efficient.) Means I will never have an account with TalkTalk. 2/2

Missyxx (@Missyxx9) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Unfortunately it's not just Vodafone its lots of companies. I had this problem with NS&I & BT. In the end I emailed the CEO of BT and complained. It was eventually sorted out but my 91yo dad would have stood no chance.

Sally Barclay (@Scallyanne) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK 2/2 6 months later after various emails, faxes and phone calls they were still sending the bills to my dad. Told him to not pay it, I’d done everything they had asked me to do in order to cancel it. They sent bailiffs to my dads and he paid them. He was scared. I was furious.

Susan Jane Cameron (@susiecameo) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I'm sorry you've had such trouble George.
-
Christopher Sykes (@sykeschris3) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Based on this info my company will never use Vodafone equipment in the future .. End of.
-
Callum Wilson (@cmw_90) reported
@VodafoneUK @debrakidd Online customer service is the worst. Have a senior manager contact George and cancel his mums contract. What you are doing is horrendous, making a difficult and upsetting time even worse. What your doing can't be allowed under law.
-
Jane Gilbert (@msjanebond007) reported
@justthevax @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK they are more than happy to pester customers out of office hours to sell you more stuff - but when you call them, they have nothing out of a bot service that ends up telling you something that you didn't need to know and the thing you need to know is still pending
-
Justin (@wildandhigh) reported
@VodafoneUK @speckyninja SO how has this culture of treating customers like this been allowed to develop? Where / who is it coming from? Who is making these policy decisions? Who is not raising these issue in the boardroom and if they are why do they continue? This will lose you 000's of customers.

Barbara Evans (@BarbEvansTwit) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I won’t use Vodaphone after they refused to cancel a contract when my fil was terminally ill with cancer and unable to use the phone … for over six months. Impossible to deal with a situation where the contract holder is incapable of acting for themself.
