@VodafoneUK No. Check your call logs @VodafoneUK. It is not appropriate to cheerily pass a customer onto a bot after s/he/they have spent 2+hrs on the phone on 20 Jan & 3 Feb without success. Treat your customers like human beings & call them. Respect their working & family time. Appalling.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same thing happened to us with @VodafoneIreland they never canceled the account when requested and then sent debit collectors to recoup a small amount of money which we do not owe them. It’s absolute disgrace. Thank you for raising this

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’d rather not have a mobile than have one with @VodafoneUK. I cancelled a contract with them on the phone and then cancelled the DD I then started receiving letters from a debt recovery agency and VF claimed they’d never received the call. Had to get a solicitor involved.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK So sorry for your loss, when my father in law passed away last year, I called up a network who uses these as their carrier only to be asked if I wanted to upgrade. Compassion is rare these days. Hope you get it sorted it shouldn’t have been this difficult
