Iestyn Lloyd (@iestynx) reported from Caernarfon, Wales@_upgradefm @imyke 5G thing was so confusing to me as well. Managed to work out in the end that @ThreeUK will support the iPhone 12 after cross matching on wikipedia and Appleβs website that Threeβs 5G network runs on n77 & n78!

Selling to an easily confused elderly person who is obviously not tech savvy is a awful thing to do. Hope they change and sort your problem fast.

All networks do this it's not new. Since you didn't have it in s phone the network didn't pick up a signal so it automatically thinks its inactive.
