    @StephenMilnes @virginmedia @MartinSLewis @MoneyTelegraph @Ofcom Good luck !! They did exactly the same to me £40 ... ofcom were a waste of time . Never ever use @virginmedia for anything. They are an awful company. Use @ThreeUK who are ace .

    @ThreeUKSupport I did request it but the outsourced call centre would rather ignore it and carry on regardless. Unable to make a complaint due to the total lack of empathy for the situation any request other than billing was ignored.

    @ThreeUKSupport As a backup, yes. I've used mine to email my boss to tell him that my wired internet connection is down. But whilst that is obviously of considerable value it's hardly heavy usage, it hasn't worn out the phone, and I don't in consequence need a replacement!

    @ThreeUKSupport Your resolution was that despite the fact the new contract was with you I told you all about it and I have a copy of the email saying my contract was obsolete and would end and become payg was to completely ignore everything and charge the full amount as they’re on commission
