@NW6Rd You've just reminded me my contract is up with my absolutely appalling @SkyUK broadband. It's so slow it's like AOL dial-up

@KwakuMMNT 112 by default. Jagged Edge were broadcasting to us using 2001 AOL dial up. Horrible signal.

@Miss_Snuffy Self pity finds many friends online from the earliest days of community forums up to today's toxic social media. "Share your support" we used to say at AOL and people did and lots was valuable, but a deep streak of 'alternative truth' bedded down there too to solicit attention.

  • dancall
Dan Calladine (@dancall) reported from Wandsworth, England

@neilperkin You'd think they could find a fix. This used to happen with all AOL accounts showing up as 'Virginia' 20 years ago!

@mezmerelda007 @502KYGal @GretchenVoss64 Aussie I need your help , I think I know how to prove that Jen did the 2:27am Safari / Google search , ok so you have to understand how Safari works , its not a search engine so it sends your request to other search engines like Google , AOL or Bing , OK so wouldn't those search engines have a timestamp , for their own records of what was requested on what date , and the exact time requested ? But how do we get this info ? From Google history ? Or can Karen subpeona those search engines that Safari asked ?

LOL, compete with other streaming mergers. Paramount+ works worse than AOL dial-up in the 1990's. It sucks so bad they need help!

@ChristandGuitar @Dexerto But universities are horrible at current methods and economics. They will create classes just to charge more tuition. Like MySpace 101 & How to use AOL.

I’m sure this will sound like the roar of a dinosaur, but as a (remaining) AOL user, I had a serious tech issue of access, called them, they answered, and a very helpful, patient human walked me through a reprogramming procedure with one of my computers to restore access. Easy

  • TXlakegirl2021
    Eva (@TXlakegirl2021) reported

@LoewyLawFirm Wasn’t that AOL? I still have my @ me - I’ll never get rid of it. For those that don’t know it was a paid for service to sync all your devices before that was normal and free.

  • hdqts
    Pastor Deborah Purnell (@hdqts) reported

When is this country going to stop the monopoly of the internet giants who control the access & content of emails. Google shut down my access, refused payment, yahoo denied access, now AOL denied access. Google, Blackrock, Microsoft, ramped up their efforts to control us.

@FOXLA All I can say is Paramount+ sucks. I tried it twice. It is a technical glitch disaster on my TV. It just loads like it was AOL dial-up! Give me a break!
