Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported from City of London, EnglandUtterly useless service from AOL/Yahoo/TalkTalk yet again following my complaint reference the breakdown/failure of their systems. So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

James Freund (@jayfreund) reported from Poplar, England@AOLSupportHelp hi there having trouble accessing my emails at the moment , I’ve tried to reset my password and it won’t allow me to , could you help?

Mic Wright 🏳️🌈🏴☠️ (@brokenbottleboy) reported from Poplar, EnglandWhen it first arrived — and I made a blog there within the first two months of its public existence — @tumblr was the near perfect blogging platform. Then AOL destroyed it. Now it’s a horrible jail where I can’t get rid of this dumb screen. Thanks @automatic.

Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported from City of London, EnglandI was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. If it doesn't work, they shouldn't take my money. @TalkTalk is a useless outfit too. I was called for months by fake Indian call centres after their data hack. My home internet sucks. @AOL @Ofcom

LibsRfuuls ✊✊✊ (@D1Allan) reported@StochasticOh @BladeoftheS I wouldn't be surprised if that retard still has an AOL email address.
-
Gordy_BD (@BrentGD) reported@TheMaineWire Jones and Migley are RCV buddies. Same with Bush and Wessels. Bobby was AOL... again. This narrows down my picks.

Stop Da Madness! (@stopda_madness) reported@MarieIsabellaB He's a better man than I am. I once ran away from a date I met on AOL. She told me she was a 8 & when I saw her she was more like a 2 or 3. I was young & mean. I wouldn't treat any1 like that anymore, but people shouldn't catfish especially if they're going to meet them in-person

Alp Lee (@alpyeong) reported@cryptogle @americadotfun Yo i rugged by your platform 2 serial times. $united and $rial wtf. I remember AOL was under 2m and a big fan of you since then. I also joined the trivia sessions. What is going on rn??

OG Justin (@orangeplaya) reported@RealProductGirl My biggest problem with discord is it feels cutoff from the internet in some ways vs something like X. Like a how AOL wasn’t really the internet back I the day.

Roger B (@RogerB65082370) reported@RepCraigGoldman As a constituent, I urge you to do everything you can to shut down US sponsored biolabs across the globe. Tulsi Gabbard is investigating more than 120 biological laboratories abroad that were funded by US taxpayer dollars for decades... - AOL
-
Weissening Blitz (@WeisseningBlitz) reportedMore random memory lane thinking. So, 13yo me on AOL found an RP group populated by a bunch of 25+yo women. You might think giggity, but weirdly, there were times where I was just hearing them out when they had some bad days. Was even one I phone chatted with.

Mike Near Tampa (@mzxeternal) reported@JLas43_ I got a couple of friends who I've never met, who go back to AOL in the late 90s LOL.
-
Alice (@AliceFromQueens) reported@DerekPederson3 @Noahpinion It comes down to how important and interesting you think Netscape, AOL, etc, were. That;s the only possible claim to major events in the 1990s

Bitcoin⚡️Baddie (@bitcoinbaddie) reported@anonchain @cryptopunks “Collectibles will be valued for when they were created, not just what they look like.” IMO, that really applies more in the physical world — like first edition Pokémon cards or a Babe Ruth rookie card. We don’t exactly value AOL 1.0 software the same way, right? That said, I 100% agree $uPeg has something novel and innovative for this cycle, and I think it’ll do well long term regardless. But if the team wants to lean heavily into “on-chain provenance,” they should look at Ordinals. I was there from day one, and people got absolutely rekt chasing sub-100 inscriptions 🤡 and over time, inscriptions didn’t matter. My whole point is: lean into everything. Don’t alienate or cut off a feature that many collectors genuinely find value in. There was never a need to completely remove visual rarity when it wasn’t hurting anything. May be except their egos.
