Mike Yardley (@YardleyShooting) reported from City of London, EnglandUtterly useless service from AOL/Yahoo/TalkTalk yet again following my complaint reference the breakdown/failure of their systems. So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

If it doesn't work, they shouldn't take my money. @TalkTalk is a useless outfit too. I was called for months by fake Indian call centres after their data hack. My home internet sucks. @AOL @Ofcom

AM Pines (@AM_Pines) reported@LeafLee6 We were clobbering each for AOL hours on CDs. We were asking anyone and everyone for an invite code to get into Livejournal or Gmail. People may have been confused by the Internet (especially older folks who didn't use computers regularly) but no, it was not like this AI ****.

James from the internet (@Zeekertron) reported@DudespostingWs My mom was a customer service rep for AOL during the launch. They gave every one unlimited free dialup. My mom used it for free until the early 00s when highspeed was available. AFAIK I still had free and unlimited dial up access until AOL stopped offering it.

random user (@GideonEightySix) reported@GergelyOrosz @Meta fails to understand one simple thing. It loses public support, its major site will be replaced by another facebook. Look at MySpace, AOL, and the other giants... all of them faced backlash and it ended their empire quickly.
