@BekoUK I bought a Beko VCS5125AR Upright Vacuum Cleaner in Red from AOL 27/2/21 and in the past week it has cut out after using it for 10mins and did not restart for 20mins. Not happy. I would like it swapped for a hoover that works competently for the use it was bought for!

  • SpacemanCre8 Spaceman - Andy G (@SpacemanCre8) reported from Ditton, England

Can safely say that @AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp have proved to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No way of contacting other than email, no acknowledgement that Mail account can’t be accessed, no way of resetting password. No help at all. Disgusting.

@AOLSupportHelp I need help to access my email it’s saying the password or account isn’t correct but I can not access my recovery email address either. I’m being sent in a circle

  • DoozyMcFloozy Totally *not* विष्णु様 中国ロボトかな。 (@DoozyMcFloozy) reported

@AshleyLatke @tim_cook Apple needs to hire real network abuse and security people who aren’t “terrified” of issues that have been around since AOL days. Alas, I’m thoroughly disgusted at Apple and retired.

  • RonBuddha6669 Ron Buddha (@RonBuddha6669) reported

@Wrestli21046904 @TranquiloClubYT @Not_Meis WCW was pretty much dead. If Ted would stayed in charge. WCW would have never been sold. Hell, it was on AOL employee that killed Bischoff buying WCW by killing the TV deal. WCW did not die because of bad booking, bad TV ratings, or not creating new stars. It was killed by AOL

  • Chrisallini MGFL 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ (@Chrisallini) reported

@DARTrueGod My first computer was a hand me down from my dads old job in like 2000, the old Gateway big noisy desktops. It was def a game changer because AOL was great then

  • Dart_Adams Dart_Adams (@Dart_Adams) reported

One of my biggest issues with my first book was my editor put an article about Nicki Minaj in it INSTEAD of the one about Watch The Throne. That was a review I wrote for AOL Black Voices that they heavily edited down to the title that I told them to yank. I reposted on Tumblr.

  • 0Tezz Tofutti Klein (@0Tezz) reported

@nickthegeekbear Truth. I have internet friends that I’ve known since AOL times 😬 and you’re right about that there. However I feel that I have enough internet pals and not enough people to interact & socialize with outside of it.. and that’s a problem.

  • gvravel Fully Vaccinated Geraldo (@gvravel) reported

@FRANKDIAZ @benjaminwittes @wbpictures The web was certainly established but people were still hooked on their online service "training wheels." I think it was around 2002 when I cut my ties with AOL.

  • gvravel Fully Vaccinated Geraldo (@gvravel) reported

@benjaminwittes This was back in the day when you had online service providers such as Prodigy, AOL, Compuserve, etc... They provided access to the internet but it was very "clunky." The internet didn't take off until you actually had internet service providers.

  • MichaelHiles HilesFiles (@MichaelHiles) reported

The toxic maxis act as if BTC is & will be the only economically viable public network ever. Denigrating other blockchain technology is like Compuserve subscribers yelling at AOL subscribers cuz they think they'll be the only social media ever. Tech history isn't on your side.

  • calidoniast Mrs. W/Westside/WesWes wears a mask 🏳️‍🌈She/Her (@calidoniast) reported

@hankgreen I would write down questions about things I had throughout the day. If a teacher couldn't answer them, I'd wait until I was back home so I could go on AOL to Ask Jeeves, an online encyclopedia, or for a long time, just go to Microsoft Encarta if the phone was in use.

  • stagingvera Vera (@stagingvera) reported

aol is absolutely the worst company with the worst phone system I have ever dealt with! Instead of ANY help they put you in a black hole you never get out of!
