Shocking service from @curryspcworld today - waited in for 6.5hrs for a dishwasher that never turned up. Two different stories from the driver, both of which were crap. Now ordered with @AOL who will hopefully do a better job on Tuesday 👍🏻

@BekoUK I bought a Beko VCS5125AR Upright Vacuum Cleaner in Red from AOL 27/2/21 and in the past week it has cut out after using it for 10mins and did not restart for 20mins. Not happy. I would like it swapped for a hoover that works competently for the use it was bought for!

  • PhilLeePhotos Phil Lee (@PhilLeePhotos) reported from Gillingham, England

@Cook_Estates @AOLSupportHelp At least I'm not the only one, was just on point of thumping laptop in frustration. 🙄 So will remain calm, now I know it's not problem at my end.

@AOLSupportHelp I need help to access my email it’s saying the password or account isn’t correct but I can not access my recovery email address either. I’m being sent in a circle

  • SpacemanCre8 Spaceman - Andy G (@SpacemanCre8) reported from Ditton, England

Can safely say that @AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp have proved to have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No way of contacting other than email, no acknowledgement that Mail account can’t be accessed, no way of resetting password. No help at all. Disgusting.

@AetnaHelp i was denied dental service because they said i was not covered. the website tells me I am not covered, but I have the same plan. The only thing that changed was that AOL (employer) was sold by Verizon to Yahoo. Help!

  • o0PaleRider0o Ryan Pounds (@o0PaleRider0o) reported

@EAHelp Also I have played the last 4 or 5 battle fields with this same gamer tag. Now all of the sudden I need an account with EA to play it and y’all linked an AOL account to my gamer tag which I have never had any email accounts with AOL.

  • LizEmDee Liz (@LizEmDee) reported

@AOL @aolmail @AOLSupportHelp trying to access old yet important emails - even if my account can’t work now, can I at least access old emails?! Just need to dig in the arsenal - don’t need to actually send anything. Please help!!

  • 314UXHolly Holly Schroeder (she/her) (@314UXHolly) reported

@granthyarbrough Oh well shite. Seems like there has to be a solution out there for biz given that a huge chunk of the country doesn't have high speed or even close. Most Americans still deal with the equivalent of AOL dial-up.

  • NUeB_net NUeB (@NUeB_net) reported

@somafm @6bq9music @torrenssen Yahoo/AOL/Hotmail… 🧐 do *real* people actually still use these? 🤯 Because of 100 % SPAM from there I've completely blocked them at my email server and never got any complaints from my users – just much less junk traffic. 🤓

  • Horatio_Profit second hand stuck in same Pringles can (@Horatio_Profit) reported

@Srirachachau LMM about to get a wave of support online from email addresses that end with"@aol.com"

  • Raeannaraeanna RaeAnna (@Raeannaraeanna) reported

So @gmail needs to admit they have a serious security issue in which spammers using your username can bypass filters to send scam emails to your inbox. If you ever were sent an email using ur username but had the “aol” domain attached to it, report it to the FTC. Report @AOL too.

  • MattSee15 Matt See (@MattSee15) reported

@Pangaea__ @mauvecow @ultradavid Wait 5-10 years and re-evaluate this. What you are seeing now is like the internet before the WWW. The current incarnation of NFTs is a bad representation of the possibilities of Web3. Don’t go back to AOL just because there are some scammers on the newsgroup.

  • EvilWilma Evil Wilma (@EvilWilma) reported

@gayblackvet AOL chat rooms were the worst.

  • RobALott Rob A. Lott (@RobALott) reported

Gillette didn’t pioneer the safety razor; Star did. Polaroid didn’t pioneer the instant camera; Dubroni did. Microsoft didn’t pioneer the personal computer spreadsheet; VisiCorp did. Amazon didn’t pioneer online book selling and AOL didn’t pioneer online Internet service….
