@cjane87 I keep putting the emails in the spam folder, but the filter keeps putting the new ones in my inbox. Maybe AOL just sucks? Everything else I only have to flag once or twice, though.

@Zigmanfreud When I was young using AOL chat, there was always some guy responding to girls complaining about their boyfriends. These guys would tell them they need to find a guy sensitive to their feelings blah blah blah. Once the girl agrees, they instantly would ask to meet. When the girl naturally turns them down, the “nice guy” would now yell c*nt !!!!!

@Mr_Derivatives We still got the bad dream from the dot com era. Every numb nut in every AOL chat room said $MU was a sure thing and it floundered for 20 years.

@joshuarolson Those CDs weren't meant to induce people into internet use since the internet didn't need the help, it was to get people, particularly low tech-savvy people, to spend their money for internet access with AOL instead of other ISPs.

For all the people that say Bitcoin is better than $XRP — please show me what Bitcoin can do better than $XRP. I’ll be waiting a million ******* years Bitcoin is nothing and don’t do ****. It’s like AOL being compared to Starlink— you can’t compare the two, once you realize one was built for testing and the other was built for “Real World Use” STOP COMPARING BECAUSE OF PRICE!!!!! STOP RELATING MARKET CAP TO $XRP — you can’t put a cap on something that is used by the entire world. It’s just dumb to think that way

@SamGreszes @JustinSadur AOL started out in 1985 as "Quantum Computer Services" offering online service for the Commodore 64. These things took longer than you seem to think.

@Matt_Pinner I never had an AOL address either, otherwise it's 19 for me!

@OpenAI @ChatGPTapp I had the Plus plan and it is garbage since the update. It reaches an invisible limit and starts to parrot your information back to you in an endless loop. It also randomly cuts you off and barks condescending language about how you feel! ChatGPT this is AOL your predecessor!
