Eventually answered after 1hr 17 mins on hold. Then received a further call at 2020’ rang once and u left a message. Immediately tried to return the call as requested but the office was closed!!! This is impossible @BarclaysUK

@BarclaysUK why did you suspend transfers with binance but not other exchanges if you are “protecting our funds”? Binance got insurance on funds, if anything, they are the safest exchange to buy crypto, yet you crack down on it. Hope everyone does the right move and switch banks!

Anyone else received conflicting advice by @BarclaysUK as to if or when they will accept foreign currency cheques? After several weeks, staff don’t know if it is a temporary problem (computer) or if the service has been dropped. Pretty bad that a bank doesn’t know what it does.

My experience with @BarclaysUK has been nothing short of appalling. The straw that broke the camel’s back today was being on hold for 25 minutes to customer service and then being cut off before the problem got resolved. All I need is a 5 digit code and my mobile number updated!
