  @BarclaysUK @BarclaysUKHelp been a customer since the 1990s and have several accounts with you. For months I have been trying to close one dormant account. I have followed your instructions, made calls, sent letters, ID etc. But a/c still sits open - why? Time to switch banks?

  @BarclaysUK @HomeOfCricket What about the abysmal design of a totally BLACK debit card? Yes I know you can ask for a high visibility card but who on earth commissioned a BLACK card that sits in BLACK wallets and purses. Good luck finding it in a dark pub or club if you drop it.   @BarclaysUK Never experienced worse service. If you are an expat considering opening a UK bank account STAY AWAY. They will close your account, take your money, and make it impossible to get it back. This is even after visiting a UK branch in person.

  @BarclaysUK @Barclays : i was patient 5 years but no more tolerance .. i just sent below email to the another bank : " Hello ........., I received an automatic out-of-office message from ...... and thought I could move forward with your assistance. I would like to open a business account, as I am not satisfied with the service I receive from Barclays. I have had a business account with them since 2019, but the customer service has been consistently poor, so I have decided to stop working with them. Thank you for your help. "
