Dragon Signs (@dragonsigns) reported from Ticehurst, England@bt_uk Gave up. The automated system refused to accept any of my phone numbers as valid entries. It’s tiresome now, be easier if a uk business call centre was available to business customers. I don’t have time to queue 30mins for no practical help. Quicker to change than get help

Lee Williams (@LeeWilliams154) reported@bt_uk I cannot find the option for online chat, I am disabled and need a reliable land land service, I use Starlink as my Internet provider.
-
Adam Darke (@adarkelimited) reportedAnother 3 hours on phone to @bt_uk today. Still unresolved, still no call back from manager, still no email as promised from bosses. Comfortably the worst customer service in the UK.
-
Sam R (@maz558) reported@bt_uk VERY disappointing with the service from your agents! I phoned as I wanted to take my service with me when I moved. Told I needed to take a new contract - 20% more expensive than current one. Told I would have to wait a week without broadband. Then lied to me!
-
David Sinfield (@omotforest) reportedDear @bt_uk You do not have my consent to install anything on my property. If it is free, it cannot be for my benefit. It's for yours. If it's cheaper for you, you can give me a share of your savings. I had no choice over the digital voice downgrade. @openreach will have to trespass to install it. If it is a condition of receiving service, say so and I will seek alternatives. (@Starlink or 5g) Is it on the T&C's? A letter is on its way to your registered address. David Sinfield.
-
Lee Williams (@LeeWilliams154) reported@bt_uk Excellent service from Brian at your call centre BT when I called, got everything I wanted and possibly TV from you in a few months
-
Kenta (@nemurikyosirou) reported@bt_uk Hi @bt_uk , I have already called 0330 1234 150, but the agent refused to resolve the issue and insisted on the payment. I will NOT call again to be ignored. I have proof of cancellation and equipment return.
-
Andrew Potts (@ah_potts) reported@bt_uk @cakey12 Broadband gone down, try logging into the app, do the 2 step verification, then select manage my account and it tries to load then goes back to the login screen. (s there a general issue?

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
