@itvMLshow Have you thought about investigating how hard it is to cancel an account, especially during a pandemic when phones have been jammed. You can move a @bt_uk to a new house on their website—you must phone to cancel. Makes no sense (unless it's to stop you cancelling).

@bt_uk Hi Elaine, the issue is I can’t use the broadband I’m paying for due to being too slow. I was told when I first set up an account it would be done the next day I upgrade and take 5 days to work. Now I’m having to wait 2 weeks. Surely theres an option for an emergency?

  • janey2316 Jane Gregg (@janey2316) reported

@bt_uk any chance of someone answering the customer services number in the near future?!?!? 😱 broadband problem but getting nowhere online or landline!!

  • zanda_89 zander (@zanda_89) reported

@bt_uk Have recently purchased (November 2020) a BT Baby Smart monitor, the parent unit keeps loosing signal with camera even when in close proximity. This keeps occurring and needs resetting 4-5 times per week. Please could you DM me to discuss...regards

  • sambeaujones sambeau (@sambeaujones) reported

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Should I pay a bill and then escalate it to the ombudsman or do I have to hold off (and risk credit blacklisting) while the ombudsman looks at the complaint? Most companies seem to force you into the latter. This is a real dilemma for me as @bt_uk are making me do it today

  • harrietpenhale3 Harriet (@harrietpenhale3) reported

@bt_uk This is an emergency as I can’t use the broadband I’m paying for which is stopping me from working. What do you define as an emergency appointment ?

  • harrietpenhale3 Harriet (@harrietpenhale3) reported

@bt_uk But this is just a switch over in the exchange box ? I don’t even need a person to Come to my property. There is always an option for emergency or priority situations?

  • sambeaujones sambeau (@sambeaujones) reported

I take it that @bt_uk aren't alone in behaving like this? You'd think there'd be some reciprocity during a pandemic. Also, what's with this trend to only be able to cancel via phone? You can transfer your account to a new house using the website which is way more complicated

  • harry__briggs Harry (@harry__briggs) reported

@bt_uk waiting for over an hour now to speak to someone - is this normal customer service?

  • Pavsingh15 P (@Pavsingh15) reported

@bt_uk Hi engineer was supposed to come friday between 1 and 6pm no show. No phone call to explain and got a msg today saying arrival between 8 and 1 and no show again. Shambolic service will be taking my complaint to the highest level. Ridiculous service
