@bt_uk Thank you for the update Michaela. These e-mail outages are far too frequent and do not reflect well on BT. I hope the service returns promptly but, if not, would appreciate further updates on progress.

  • Lovemebird Sharooby 🌹🇪🇺🌍 (@Lovemebird) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@bt_uk yet another hub delivered to my home to sort out an issue with my broadband that has nothing to do with the hub. We have had countless engineers come to our home to tell us that it is not an issue with our end. Now facing yet another weekend with the service I am paying 1/

  • MrSmithInNotts Trevor Smith (@MrSmithInNotts) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@btsport the BT Sport apps on my iPhone & iPad won’t let me cast to my TV. Is there a problem? Is there anything I can do? Ta

  • JPSimpson88 John Simpson (@JPSimpson88) reported from Worksop, England

@kkkhan22 @craigr98_2016 @UswitchUK @bt_uk Possibly the location if the router, if it's near electronic items such as a TV, in a room with too many walls etc it can slow the internet down in other places of the home. Every WiFi has a 'not-spot' such as back of the house upstairs or even in the converted loft spaces.

  • mellor824 Mandy Mellor 🕷 (@mellor824) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@bt_uk email service not responding again. Please advise as to the issue and the rectification timescales.

  • Benjie_Shep #hellomynameis Ben (@Benjie_Shep) reported from Knaith, England

@bt_uk That’s fine then. You’re happy to charge me for a substandard service with repeated promises that it’s going to get better. Open Reach want the Communtiy tonfund improvements. So I’m going to 4G and forgetting antiquated Land Line.

This will be the 7th weekend without it @bt_uk or are you actually going to fix it before then.... 2/2 #nobroadbandfrombt

  • JoshKHodgetts Josh Hodgetts (@JoshKHodgetts) reported from Carlton on Trent, England

. @bt_uk Just found out that the order we placed for internet installation on the 23rd of October has been delayed until the 3rd of Feb. Not what I wanted to wake up to today given my partner and I work from home and currently have a patchy mobile Hotspot. Another complaint time.

If what you're looking for in an ISP is a service that makes data transfer of any kind frustratingly pointless may I recommend @ThreeUK. I can't wait for my contract to end. This message brought to you courtesy of @bt_uk

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • reallyblonde Kirsten Gibson (@reallyblonde) reported

@bt_uk I appreciate the update Dee. Can you confirm it will be an Openreach engineer that will come out to connect it and not a contractor as contractors cannot resolve this problem. Also, how will we be reimbursed automatically if you don’t know how much costs we have incurred?

  • sheepiefarm CharlietheShepherd (@sheepiefarm) reported

@Harrywhoz1 @bt_uk Have reported it as a scam on their website. Normally I would have been wary - must have my stupid head on today 🤪

  • Carer26 Tony Goodger (@Carer26) reported

been waiting for ages for #BT / @bt_uk to email me a 4 digit code. Come on guys DO IT NOW you'll feel so much better for doing some customer care!

  • seaghanMK2 Seánie 🥊 (@seaghanMK2) reported

@bt_uk No all ok. Speed 150. Recent letter saying that our phone service will soon be switching to the back of the hub, was worried it might not work. It hasn’t helped by an idiot openreach engineer outside telling us we are not on full fibre when our contract clearly says we are.

  • EmmaXxx97 Em (@EmmaXxx97) reported

@bt_uk @BTGroup Day 18 without Internet - BT have now supplied us with a 4g hub which they initially said they dont do. The hub is useless considering I live in an apartment with concrete floors so 4g signal is rare. The hub cuts out every 30 minutes on the dot which is great!

  • 49ersClub 49ërsClüb AFC (@49ersClub) reported

@bt_uk You have to win an award 🥉 for the worst service provider of all time. Appointment booked for 08:00-13:00 today. There was no email confirmation. My instinct led me to calm at 09:00 only to be told my appointment was missed. No details. Next appt available 1st June. Pathetic

  • TheGoodwins2 TheGoodwins (@TheGoodwins2) reported

Hello @BTCare you are driving an elderly couple insane trying to cancel phone their line. You've had us jumping through hoops which we've done & still you're refusing to cancel phone line on completion of house sale. Why would people want to pay for new owners phone calls?

  • 232drpepper 232drpepper (@232drpepper) reported

@Mehan98 @bt_uk Its nothing on your end, its just BT themselves being sh*t. The last week my wifi has gone down for hours every night and loads of people are experiencing the same thing

  • quatermass_pitt Christopher Jones (@quatermass_pitt) reported

@bt_uk @MarcusRashford Will BT and Marcus also support another simpler move; if somebody receives abuse online, they close their accounts and kill the abuse by depriving the trolls the oxygen of publicity. Thierry Henry shut down his social media, a far better step.
