@jimkim123 @BTCare @bt_uk Hi James hope you are good. We had a really bad experience with @BT. Moved into new house almost 3 years ago and it took 4 months to get our broadband working . Constant lies and being fobbed off with excuses. We are moving over to @Vodafone broadband next week. 1/4 the cost

  • willisRM73 Dr Rich Willis (@willisRM73) reported from Kidlington, England

@bt_uk Credit where it’s due. BT phoned me when they said they would & resolved my week-long issue. Everything working fine now but it shouldn’t have taken this long. 1 fairly satisfied long-standing customer. 👍

  • georgeoufc93 G . H (@georgeoufc93) reported from Woodstock, England

Chris Sutton. Worst pundit ever in my opinion. He claims it wasn't a penalty but it definitely was in my view. #btsport #ChampionsLeague

  • sikaye_oxf Simon Kaye (@sikaye_oxf) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@bt_uk my bt disc has started to fail. Seems to go orange after a few hours. Wifi devices reverting to router giving very poor performance

@toucanjester @DreyfusJames @bt_uk They are too big. I pay through the nose for my internet now (a reseller of BT) just to avoid that level of service you've just experienced.

  • toucanjester MrC 🛸 (@toucanjester) reported

@JustBusyWriting @DreyfusJames @bt_uk I left before fibre fed off the poles was the norm but more often than not the drop wires (as we call them) are vulnerable to the weather, tree branches & even squirrels (they will chew it to pieces).Even snow can pull them down to the ground.

  • HathorsDaughter Sue Henderson 💙 (@HathorsDaughter) reported

@DreyfusJames @bt_uk They've clearly not changed in over two decades when I fled from them and vowed never to give them a penny ever again. I'm sorry you're having to endure their inadequacies. I hope they sort it out soon.

  • toucanjester MrC 🛸 (@toucanjester) reported

@DreyfusJames @JustBusyWriting @bt_uk Today its usually fibre to the large green boxes (DSLAM) & then 🤞🏽 copper beyond. Unfortunately there is aluminium & even paper insulated wires still in the ground. Underground boxes flood easily especially after a storm, wires get rubbed down in the trees if it’s pole fed

  • LotSW1973 F. C. Dewhirst and Co. (@LotSW1973) reported

@DreyfusJames @bt_uk My family had a nightmare in 2021 with a new router, which was sold to us by a subsidiary company to BT. We had nothing but trouble with it, and finally got it replaced by BT directly just a few weeks ago. We also ended up paying way more than we should have, but got compensated

  • carolinesgreen Caroline Green (@carolinesgreen) reported

@bt_uk Thanks. You might have a new customer by the end of the day.

  • Geog_Miss_P Miss P the 🌍HoD🙋‍♀️🏳️‍🌈 (@Geog_Miss_P) reported

@bt_uk can you help? My 91yo grandma has been without a landline since 21/12, your engineer said its a major fault and cannot be fixed, "for weeks" but she's the only house experiencing it. She lives alone and doesn't use the Internet/mobiles so is vulnerable.

  • DaveB_mcfc DaveB🇧🇼 (@DaveB_mcfc) reported from Longfield, England

Our broadband has been on/off daily since 16/12 but despite being given a fix date of 06/01 at 1pm this has now passed and the fault checker now says you are unable to give a new date. Can you give update confirm what compensation we are entitled to and how we claim it. @.bt_uk

  • jamiepoulter1 jamie poulter (@jamiepoulter1) reported

@btbusinesscare @BTCare I am absolutely disgusted with the shocking service I am reviewing from you at the moment not even a courtesy phone call to say that the job is gonna take longer than it should of taken

  • JustBusyWriting OnlyMe (@JustBusyWriting) reported

@toucanjester @DreyfusJames @bt_uk We have fibre from the pole to our house (Swish fibre did it in our area). It’s more about the cable weight and the tension where it attaches which is the issue, as it was explained to me by BT. Had we been the house next the pole, a copper cable would have been okay.
