@EE Not until after it had happened. It just feels like profiteering on the part of @EE. As the bill payer I would have expected notification that this was going on. As the line user I would have expected my daughter to have had a txt explaining she was being charged. Very poor!

@OpenreachHelp I thought I'd come direct as your guys were not clear with @EE, it was made to sound like a network problem and also that it was a surprise, I guess when you have the market monopoly, not showing up has not penalty - pretty disgraceful

@EE just a heads up for anyone wanting a simple to use emergency phone for an elderly relative, find another company! Mum has dementia and they could not be more unhelpful if trey tried!!!
