@Independent @EE bit of a shame to leave you but this isn’t a move to invest in UK infrastructure it’s a money grab pure and simple. Really poor decision given you didn’t have to do it.

@StanCollymore @EE All the other major networks will follow. If there’s smaller providers that signal are ok where you live in UK you might have a choice.

@EE so now you are changing our contracts by introducing roaming charges! Can we now take our custom elsewhere without penalty! I for one won’t be upgrading or having you as my service provider!!!!

@duckfundee @EE Absolutely but as an EE customer the others didn’t lie directly to me

Sad to see @EE is to reintroduce dreaded EU roaming charges from Jan 22. Whilst not always the cheapest, I've found the service & coverage good, sad to move mob broadband & mob - but £180 for a 3 month stay in Spain on top of £16 odd monthly to use my mobile is not acceptable.

@ramtops @AnnaJerzewska @EE I found EE to be more than reasonable when it came to ending a contract early (with no early termination fees) when the point of contention was their claim “fastest UK network”, which I said wasn’t right and had caused me a 50% loss of data speed.

@EE I do feel really sorry for you SM folks today, Gavin, but you must realise that having been promised this wouldn’t happen, an awful lot of people are going to be very cross? If @ThreeUK doesn’t introduce EU roaming you guys are going to lose a LOT of customers.

@mrjamesob Typical, just renewed my contract (within last month) with @EE and now they do this...... poor

@EE That’s right. You can count on EE being the only network in the UK to reintroduce EU roaming charges under the pretence of wanting to invest more money in its UK network.

@EE As soon as my contract is up I'm off to someone who won't charge for roaming. Haven't changed my provider in 20+ years. This stinks. You can shove your slightly faster network.
