@EE Okay, and the rationale? Why? If I cancel my add on and buy through apple I'll maintain the current cost (of 9.99 per month). So EE is just being greedy and causing me hassle is my contention.

@ryanian650 @EE Be very careful Ryan, I had the same thing and chose to stay with EE but on a much better deal through one of their Authorised Partners. EE totally messed it up, didn't cancel the old contract (despite being given notice), repeatedly failed to port my number to new contract

@EE your custserv couldn’t be more interested in me saying I was going to leave because I can get the exact same service (& network) somewhere else for much less! Be a shame to move but if you can’t match/try keep my custom I’ll move all 4 contracts to save at least £80 a month!

@nikdoof_ @EE Yeah a number of us have been hit with this today. Apparently I hit a cap which i think is £10,000 despite having roaming in place. They cut me off and left me with no phone service nor data at all.

@mikejobson @EE Surely if this is a widespread issue, EE should be *at the bare minimum* be communicating straight away with affected customers what is actually happening - I imagine for many folks, a useless phone and a bill for £10k while abroad will be very distressing!

@sjlw90 @EE Si I was told by customer service that I can still use the phone and all charges will be refunded - it’s actually my daughter in Canada using a sim in my name as I pay. There’s no way EE can tell people not to use their phones! Shocking if you need yeh chief executives email Msg

@EE horrific service from EE. My mum has been told she has a £41,000 phone bill after 1 day. They have now blocked mine, my mums and my dad phone whilst we are all abroad. I am abroad by myself now without a working phone. This needs to be sorted ASAP
