I sent a DM to @EE and was told that “you may receive a message like this from time to time, and restarting your phone simply allows it to reconnect to the network so that you're getting the best service possible” no explanation for why the message is from Unknown and not EE.

You know what’s insane? The fact that my Pixel 5, that has been on contract for a year and a half with @EE, would still cost me over £500 to cancel early - I’ve got 7 months left. Pixel 5 cost £500 brand new even back then! That’s like a £2k contract for a £500 phone!!

@EE help me! I need my pac code to transfer to my number to my new provider, but my number has been disconnected so I can’t text and my online account says closed. Is it still possible to transfer my old number? I can’t ring as it says the phone number is no longer with EE
