  @EE Your TV box keeps freezing when I'm using apps like YouTube and BBC iPlayer. This is my second replacement box, and it's just a really disappointing TV service. Your broadband however is fantastic, good streaming quality and reliable Wi-Fi connection.

  @EE Thx. The issue is that many users are generally older not very tech savvy, (my neighbour is 92) and so could well end up with no service if there is a power cut.

  @LeilaniDowding @EE Personal use satellite radios on their way. CB radio. Personal use batteries. Could be considetrd a backwards step, but copper line phones were never power free magic.

  @LeilaniDowding @EE The old PSTN network is being phased out (copper wires, low voltage old school telephones) as I recall. The phones you're thinking of won't be around much longer. Unless someone tells me otherwise.

  @EE Still no resolution on this. After all day trying I was eventually told on Monday the 12 month would be created for me. Only for the contract to be sent over at 24 months. When I queried they said contact again in 48 hours for it to be re written. Now being told o can’t have it
