@FreeviewAdvice hi - Freeview has been down for nearly two days in Swindon, is there anything being done to fix this?

For me, the festive TV schedule on the Freeview channels has been pretty dire. I think only the soaps and Doctor Who saved the schedule. I like Mrs Brown's Boys was poor. Normally. I love it! Against the opinion of Twitter. Don't have Sky or the like.

@salbags60 Good idea, one of the extra BBC channels that are viewable on Freeview but then we have the problem of age related lessons

@bt_uk I never use Freeview. It's the connection via sky boxes. No error code, just constant "you cannot watch TV at the moment due to a connection error" ( or something like that)... It's happened about 50 times since 5:30 this morning, tablet loses connection too.

@LGUK @LGUKCare Just bought a brand new 2020 model smart TV. Outrageous that it doesn’t support Freeview play. Can’t get ITV player or All4. Thought that’d be standard. Knew I should have went for the Samsung. Looks like a trip back to the shop to return it #LG #Wasteofmoney

@mostlyceltic81 Why did you not buy one with Freeview built in then?? Seems like poor research before a major purchase to me.

  • fmacskasy fmacskasy (@fmacskasy) reported

While @radionz is on news & current affairs blackout during "summer break", there's Al Jazeera on Freeview. This is what a commercialised RNZ would look like. One word: irrelevant.

  • NickHackett2 Nicholas (@NickHackett2) reported

@salbags60 I'm sure there used to be channel like that called teachers tv but changed to together tv now and I've never watch together tv so can't tell you unfortunately. But it is on freeview

@ali_king Now I feel like I should check the 365 Travel channel on Freeview again to see if they’re still advertising cruises that never happened
