@Fern_McGovern @SIofting @jckhth Nope. You can pay for a better service. Just as you can have Freeview TV, standard channels, most in standard definition but functional, or you can pay more for Netflix/Amazon/etc, Sky or BT with movies and sport in HD. Same principle applies.

@BBCScotlandNews Waste of a channel, BBC Nicola and it's Gaelic pall BBC 1% a few channels down are just space fillers for Sky, Virgin and Freeview.

The big exception of course is big sports but that's a little different to normal programming. Even there, cricket viewing has dwindled from lack of major (and Freeview) network coverage.
