Christine Scott (@Christi34653250) reported from Longbenton, England@ITVX I wish I could or that Freeview took on this network a lot of us on pensions can't afford satalite or cable
-
JR (@JonnyRoLi) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England@Fern_McGovern @SIofting @jckhth Nope. You can pay for a better service. Just as you can have Freeview TV, standard channels, most in standard definition but functional, or you can pay more for Netflix/Amazon/etc, Sky or BT with movies and sport in HD. Same principle applies.

Gerry Carpenter (@GerryCarpenter3) reported from Sunderland, England@Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

Nicola (@aquablu) reported from Whitley Bay, EnglandIf we're in lock down for another 3 weeks, I really feel the #sonyChristmasChannel should be put back on #freeview...Will keep people in the house ( okay, it'll easily keep me in the house🎅🤶🌲

CESTRIAN 🇪🇺 (@Eccconomics) reported@grok @pjdcums @Heccles94 Bit of a problem for you. GB News is mostly watched on Freesat and Freeview, which are mainly funded by the TV licence
-
Bob Mcglade (@otis_t) reported@Greytopp @thecarolemalone No it’s you who are wrong because the tv licence covers more than the BBC. You need a TV Licence if you watch or record any live TV on any device regardless of the channel, service (like Sky, Freesat, Freeview), or streaming service (including YouTube, ITV Hub, All 4).

wisdom (@synapticwisdom) reported@GBPolitcs @Telegraph The new internet version of Freeview - Freely... I think it asks you to sign in if you want to watch ITV or Channel 5. So if that's the future direction of TV then if you didn't want BBC you could just not sign in. If you do want it you sign in and pay the licence for a year?
