    @Fern_McGovern @SIofting @jckhth Nope. You can pay for a better service. Just as you can have Freeview TV, standard channels, most in standard definition but functional, or you can pay more for Netflix/Amazon/etc, Sky or BT with movies and sport in HD. Same principle applies.

    @bigpapablu @itvfootball I don’t have a sky or freeview box! I stream everything and have very good internet so it’s never an issue haha

    @Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

    @MrDazzaThomas @archivetvmus71 I was brought up with it, the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's were good now it's a very poor shadow of it's self. I still watch it because there's nothing else on really. Single man alone only with Freeview.

    @YardleyShooting The effort of TPTB is to suppress awkward truths and misdirect with hoaxes. Another example - the Freeview TV platform is broken and can never be fixed. Govt wants us all online being tracked. TV Licence fees and antenna setup costs should be refunded.

    @iiTzPredatorHD Hi Joe, the entertainment extra pack was the basic TV service and includes Up to 94 Freeview channels including 16 in HD, 28 Premium entertainment channels including 9 Kids channels. The latest movies to rent or buy on BT TV Store. 1/2 Dom

    @SirEdwardBooth @DavidPoulden You never paid the BBC , you paid TV Licencing which you need to pay to watch GBNews live on Freeview or Sattelite.

    @johubris @jarrod__baker Ok I feel like a bit of an idiot, but it transpires the Freeview app is actually working on our tv now. I thought it’d been canned but I seem to have live tv.

    @MacLiv Yeah I mainly just wanted Sky broadband but even that I’m going to cancel. Freeview channels are good aren’t they! As long as we get CBeebies then we’re happy xxxx
