@Fern_McGovern @SIofting @jckhth Nope. You can pay for a better service. Just as you can have Freeview TV, standard channels, most in standard definition but functional, or you can pay more for Netflix/Amazon/etc, Sky or BT with movies and sport in HD. Same principle applies.

If we're in lock down for another 3 weeks, I really feel the #sonyChristmasChannel should be put back on #freeview...Will keep people in the house ( okay, it'll easily keep me in the house🎅🤶🌲

@Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

@moogal Are you on Freeview or satellite? Satellite can suffer from rain fade, especially if there’s heavy rain at the uplink and the downlink (home) location. Could be your dish is slightly off-beam which is made worse with all that water in the way of your signal.

@LesleyB58051421 It's been fine the last two days. This morning, when I switched it on at 10:27, it defaulted to Absolute Radio. I've given up and switched to Freeview for today but it's a dodgy signal!

@karlypants1 @UKTVPlayHelp One problem is that the Freeview platform involves too many cooks but no chef that will take overall responsibility for sorting this type of problem. Maybe a campaign for refunding the TV licence fee would get some attention?

@TVNZ @1NewsNZ can you please fix your live streaming for TV1.. it's been glitchy for the last few days. Only happens on TV1 and none of the other channels. Noticed it on freeview streaming and the TVNZ app, and the glitches happen at the same timecode on different connections.
