@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

@Mrs_Bentos @thebellow I once gave away a Freeview box on the local Facebook page. A woman asked if I could meet her at 2pm on Tuesday outside the Co-Op in West Norwood. I declined, as I'm not a delivery service.

@utb_smith @jimbobity If Grimes was an advert he'd be one of those twenty minute long ones they stick on Freeview in the dead of night, flogging **** air fryers and granite based pans. A lot of talk and when the gear shows up its third rate tat.

My TV has inbuilt Freeview and the signal has been rubbish forever. I tried a cheap Blaupunkt indoor aerial last year but it did nowt (telly is not very near a window.) Is it worth trying something stronger or just keep relying on streaming?

@UBn9ohogz0XOFWP @GBNEWS To watch I need a TV license, a freeview signal or Sky subscription, and an HD TV. I don't have any of those. Oh, and even if I had Sky I would have to pay extra for GB News

@Patricia344130 Live TV probably yes. Find lots of ‘old’ repeats, which never had time to watch, are now much more interesting. Thank goodness for Freeview.

@Steve_Laws_ Home Office Questions today (7th) at 2.30pm, let's wait and see if the immense issues of Channel crossings pops up. If it does it will be the same old questions with the same old answers so we'll be no further forward! Parliament Channel freeview 232
