@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

@Prof_Nostalgia To restore services. So far nearly 3 weeks on the majority of Teesside still has neither TV or Radio, if Freeview can't/won't invest in ageing infrastructure then it very much is there problem

If Freeview channels do get together to launch a joint streaming service, they could have pop-up channels for specific events like on iPlayer. Then if live events like the W Series are delayed, they could be streamed rather than going off air.

Angela "shall we try the TV" Me "why not" Yep no signal after 3 weeks (on 31st) #Freeview sucks strip #Freeview of it's broadcasting rights & whilst I'm at it, I asked #Freeview if they had a regulatory body but got no response any on Twitter know?

@DefundBBC I look at #freeview TV schedule a couple of times a week & rarely find anything I want to watch on any of the channels. But I'm an old ***. My son NEVER bothers with the main TV at all. Tablet, pc or phone is where he & his peers view content. #bbc etc take note.

@FreeviewAdvice I've got the DM. I've tried for another transmitter but nothing. Guess waiting game or Sky subscription, shame was enjoying Freeview service

Well, that's one way of clearing the 16 films on my Freeview recorder... After almost 10 years of good service it died today, taking the recorded films with it. Just ordered a replacement (and a new stereo to replace the 22 year old one that keeps skipping when playing CDs)
