@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

Any good freeview IPTV providers in the UK? My grandparents TV is really slow loading the guide, it takes 10 seconds. Also apps like Netflix and Prime never went above 1080p. Constantly had wifi issues. So we got a firestick …

@FreeviewAdvice Hi Anne. Thanks for the input but I don't believe whether or not it's connected to the aerial is the issue here as it's a group of apps that are affected not just the Freeview one. If the Freeview app was opening ok but then saying it needs an update then I would borrow one

I mean don’t get me wrong I definitely get more cam shows offering free preview but can get tiring with time wasters you just know ain’t going to spend money. Some of them come in freeview daily and never wanna spend like why bother doing that on AW 🙄

I have tried clearing the internet memory in the hope it gives the apps a kick but no joy. I don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling the TV as I have Freeview satellite channels installed with lots of favourites marked. Is there anything else I can do to fix this

@FreeviewAdvice I live in Washington and received freeview reception from Bilsdale. I have a very poor signal at the moment making viewing not possible When the temp 80m mast is commissioned will I then get a viewable signal?

Any tv tech savvy bids on here? Parents tv is badly pixelating channels through digi-box but fine through Freeview. Replaced box and leads and tried a signal blocking filter with no success. Any ideas? #bt #techsupport

@TherealNihal Think that's bad, tommorow will be 28 days since Teesside lost it's Freeview transmitter. So no sky, no TV. Weirdly got DAB but no FM apart from local radio. It's like being in the Stone age. One positive, mood change is weird, no stress better sleep, easier to get to sleep too.
