@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • Bluebird0309 CllrJillHoulbrook (@Bluebird0309) reported from Chester, England

I have 100 freeview channels on my tv. Tonight they are all showing utter crap.

  • blogmywiki Giles Booth (@blogmywiki) reported

@BethBudden @Channel4News Looks ok to me just now on Freeview HD, but I've noticed similar problems in the past.

  • James__Parr James Parr (@James__Parr) reported

@Shires_Rich We should start a petition to get Star Trek aired on freeview tv so that anyone can watch it without having to pay for a premium streaming service.

  • adiospantaloons Trumpet Compulsory (@adiospantaloons) reported

@TalkingPicsTV @Simon_Pegg I wish. I can't seem to watch your channel, no matter how hard I track it down. No website or app seems to stream it, and we can't get Freeview as aerials don't work in our wooded part of the country :-(

  • JSpaced10 JSpaced but Christmas 🎄 #BLM (@JSpaced10) reported

@TheWarLlama Why does it feel like three seasons is Netflix’s hard limit for new content, while having billions of seasons of unwatchable crap available on Freeview?

  • TheWarLlama The War Llama (Taylor's Version) (@TheWarLlama) reported

@JSpaced10 Because the licencing for the Freeview crap is cheap. Original shows are not. Gotta maximise those profits, son.

  • FrancisAShailes Francis A Shailes (@FrancisAShailes) reported

@TalkingPicsTV @berkobabe UK, but I don't have a TV that can get Freeview. I had a digibox but it's very poor at reception now (I'm near Bristol). I wish one day TPTV could be fed to the internet like Drama and Yesterday etc.... but I know there are obstacles to that.

  • cryingperv izzy 🥡 (@cryingperv) reported

something about having an old *** tv means that bbc will never work on my ******* plug in satellite but babestation is always there for me luv freeview

  • feverpitch96 andrew lambkin (@feverpitch96) reported

@Foxtel Is this a bad joke? It's 2021, but add a bit of wind and for the last 72 hours my $100/month 18-years-installed Foxtel satellite dish signal has suddenly been breaking up and stuffing about worse than Freeview. Seriously?? #notgoodenough

  • richardjacobs1 Rich Jacobs💙 (@richardjacobs1) reported

@SimonBrodkin Similar goings on with mine. We need to compile a parental / grandparental FAQ to avoid the call outs. “Q: You think Freeview not working? A: press Input. Antenna = aerial = Freeview” My latest call out!

  • loulou_wilson Louise Wilson (@loulou_wilson) reported

@ManchesterTVUK not sure if you are aware, but your Freeview channel 99 is transmitting news about Yorkshire. I have contacted @FreeviewAdvice and they said it’s a broadcast issue with yourselves.
