@EinCymru Yep it is true - can't get it on any Freeview service (might with Sky) - so annoying - have choice of North West or West Mids.

@2004__harry @TeamUkraine2022 Th pq on Freeview is appalling. Looks like American TV from the mid 90's. On Sky it's HD. Likely 2 issues. 1:no space on Freeview multiplexes to squeeze HD on, or 2:Cost to do so is prohibited based on expected advertising revenues.

@BootstrapCook Sometimes. The cabling should work fine so long as the box and your TV have an HDMI port. Problem might be whether the Freeview signal in your area is strong enough to be picked up by a small aerial.

@archers_fan2015 @BBCiPlayer I’m not sniffy about anyone’s telly choices just never get to see much of it myself. I think L sticks with Freeview and the BBC btw. I think she secretly fancies and admires Neil Oliver. #TheArchers

@LeapfrogMark @TalkTV @iancollinsuk Most of the BBC is not suitable for a subs service, for example, no UK news programme is subscription only (even sky is on freeview) and technically it is not possible for radio stations. An advertising and sponsorship is more realistic but other media outlets will not like it

Why is TV so utterly ****? Freeview? Supposed to be 700 Channels. And 695 of them are Totally ******* Unwatchable! The other 5 consist of Repeats or Adverts! And they want you to pay £156 Quid for a TV License? NOT A CHANCE!

Our Sky box is dead. We’ve lost everything we had recorded or planned. We now have very slow freeview. It’s like we’re cave people - until Tuesday when our replacement arrives.
