@EinCymru Yep it is true - can't get it on any Freeview service (might with Sky) - so annoying - have choice of North West or West Mids.

@WendyM53 @Freeview Hi, Due to unforeseen circumstances the Bilsdale transmitter is currently not transmitting due to a large fire. The emergency services are onsite and once cleared the engineers will access the transmitter to resolve the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Hi @JohnLewisRetail - my mum has been without her broken freeview box since the end of June and no update. It’s with the manufacturer apparently. But her statutory rights mean she’s entitled to a replacement/ refund and her contract is with you. Really poor service.

Over 3 hrs I've spent trying to figure out why the Freeview side of my BT box lost all the channels with no signal. Stripped wires removed plugs...checked other TVs ...only to finally find out the local transmitter is on 🔥.. not happy.....bedtime.....😠😠

Hi @FreeviewAdvice, I live in the North East of England (Middlesbrough) and my Freeview went off but when I ran another scan it's only found 34 channels when I once had over 150? My signal appears to have dropped also. Most of the 34 channels are unwatchable due to pixels. Help?

@f1redfive Hi Alex. Are all your Freeview channels off? I put Ch4 on 2.10pm to watch Countdown 🕛 & every channel No Signal ! so, tried switching TV off & on mains.. No Signal. Then got Freeview pocket TV out.. No Signal ! Luckily old Sky box in bedroom still shows free channels

Bad news: Bilsdale transmitter down due to fire meaning 1 million homes will not get freeview TV services... Good news: This means they will miss 'Love Island'...Every cloud etc; #wednesdaythought #Bilsdale

@JAMortram I saw the directors cut at the cinema first - so have never been subjected to it, but heard pretty terrible all round. On the Waterfront just about to start on freeview so have had to turn off TV otherwise that’s the evening gone!!!
