@EinCymru Yep it is true - can't get it on any Freeview service (might with Sky) - so annoying - have choice of North West or West Mids.

@NickPye10 @GBNEWS I’ve only got freeview and the picture quality was really poor like cathode ray tube, no remote control poor, had to turn it off it was that bad

@AndrewC_53 @RealGaryWebster I've never had Sky and never will. They did the same to TV series for years - wait for it to become popular on terrestrial (showing my age) and Freeview, then price them out of renewing to try to force people onto Sky if they want to continue the show.

@58paulb @Bigdogdigs Always used to buy Panasonic. Then I had a hard drive fail on a freeview box. Panasonic were no help at all, because they didn’t want me to repair it myself.

@Philips No unfortunately. Lots of going around in circles. Searched the web & it seems lots of people are having same problem with aspect ratio in smart/on demand/freeview play mode, and no solution. Settings changes don’t apply. Maybe a bug on your OS? I returned and went for Samsung 😢

Apparently @JolyonMaugham was supposed to be on @SkyNews today giving opinions. It was canned at last moment. I've been a Sky customer for 20 years. Had enough of this sh*t will not be renewing next contract. Freeview and contactless satellite TV for me from now on.
