Pensioners, our TV broke down today, just ordered our first ever HD Freeview TV, paid a TV Licence for 50 years so why not embrace this technology we have paid the BBC for all these year @DefundBBC

@Sharon43068108 Very annoying! They are now showing the same match on BBC 1 AND 2. We are in a hotel room son only have Freeview. Going to watch Bridget Jones Diary on itv2 - I have my fingers crossed it's not too rude for the kids 🤣 (from what I remember, I think it's ok)

@HumaxUK only had this fvp-500t since 7th may 20 and its on the blink, freezes, losing recorded programs and Freeview is so slow. Has updates April 2019 but still poor. I would not recommend this at all.

I'm going to treat myself to a big bar of chocolate today. Apart from being a clever little boy FINALLY setting up my new TV and Freeview Recorder and Google Laptop I also had good news on my diabetes, still OK and my blood pressure, normal. Umm maybe chocolate isn't a good idea

@bedford_colleen I think our TV is 40 something inches, had it a good few years but I've never watched it. Herself, who does watch TV, dumped Sky years ago - not worth the money she said; now uses something called Freeview (?).

How many people will cancel sky when they have to cut back as millions will with the cost of living going up so terribly. And what is FTA ? @VoiceofCal It's only if you watch or record live TV or watch anything on iPlayer which is the BBC's own video on demand service. This includes any channel broadcasting in the UK, Sky, freesat, even freeview tv-the channels preprogrammed into a TV when you buy it.
