Can’t believe how truly terrible EETV is. Tuning freeview channels is atrocious. Currently get 43, no BBC, ITV or any basic ones using new aerial. If it does find them they just disappear. Bedroom TV gets all the freeview ones and that’s on an old aerial in the same spot. #EETV

@mrjamesob If the Gammon aren't careful, the only British values we'll have left will be brown sauce, calling Freeview "Normal Telly" and wrought iron silhouettes of a WW2 solider we're told to never forget, even though he died defending Europe, The Rule of Law, and Refugees.

@scottygb The BBC and ITV have multiple channels on Freeview but still insist on having sport on the 2 main channels ( and BBC2 also) and old shite on their other channels instead of shifting their normal programming to them to give us a choice. THAT is the issue.

@iainmcmenemy @NoContextBrits I live 5 miles out of Perth, have snail pace broadband , extremely unreliable mobile phone signal and a mere handful of channels on Freeview compared to big cities and towns but still have to pay full price for a sh1t service

The Freeview TV service was technically compromised when the greedy government sold its spectrum to cellphone operators. It does not work for a significant amount of time each year. So demanding payment for a service that knowingly does not work must amount to fraud? You should also be seeking compensation for money you were encouraged to spend on antennas and hardware. I'm the only one here on X who seems to be experiencing issues with #freeview, they said that there were engineering works taking place at the Tower so the TV would keep going black or buffering.

@scottygb It’s 2 weeks of the year, plus everyone has IPlayer and numerous other channels on Freeview/Freesat and Virgin etc etc. They need to get a grip. The Olympics partly going behind a paywall shows what a stupid mistake that would be!

This is driving me mad, can anyone help? I've a HUMAX freeview recorder to record commercial TV so I don't have to watch all the adverts on catchup or pay not to! When it's recording something, the picture on another channel fills my TV screen (43") but when it isn't, it doesn't?

@ClarksonsFarm1 Quite simply, it's a subscription that you pay to use your freeview service. However, unlike other paid TV services, it is still possible to access those services even if you don't pay.

@Everyone_TV Receiving message on a black screen stating 'To view this service please connect your device to the internet' on 103 ITV HD and 104 C4 HD after 10pm on freeview TV. Clears by morning. What's going on as it seems to be happening to loads of people?
