@mrjamesob If the Gammon aren't careful, the only British values we'll have left will be brown sauce, calling Freeview "Normal Telly" and wrought iron silhouettes of a WW2 solider we're told to never forget, even though he died defending Europe, The Rule of Law, and Refugees.

Can’t believe how truly terrible EETV is. Tuning freeview channels is atrocious. Currently get 43, no BBC, ITV or any basic ones using new aerial. If it does find them they just disappear. Bedroom TV gets all the freeview ones and that’s on an old aerial in the same spot. #EETV

There's an important point to be made about internet freedom and search algorithms but I can't be bothered all that so... The internet is like Freeview now. "Do you want this crap thing you didn't ask for on CNN 1, CNN 2, or CNN extra?" 😾

Poor Freeview reception here this morning, especially on BBC channels. Atmospheric conditions?

  • odubhda odubhda (@odubhda) reported

@Al_Hine I don't think that it's on the basic Saorview (Freeview) package, I think you just get the RTE and Virgin Media Channels... and Oireachtas TV! So you will be in trouble if it's BBC you need. But that's always been the case as far as I know since the switchover. No C4 either.

  • StephenOld Stephen Old #ParodyPhantomOfThePinguwalda'sServant (@StephenOld) reported

@couiza @PsychicSquirrel @virginmedia We have never watched TV from VM. Our TV has Freeview channels built in.

  • jon_winkle Jon 🔜 WASD (@jon_winkle) reported

What’s more “event season” than watching Family Guy on Freeview (because none of the other channels have signal) in a Travelodge…

  • metomgreen Tom Green (@metomgreen) reported

@Fudge_Barge @BBCNews It would damage the revenue streams of commercial channels. They don't want that. Your TV license also pays for the broadcasting infrastructure used by Freeview, broadband rollout and part funds S4C in Wales. It's not just the BBC that benefits.

  • DiakoNFT54 BLxKΞ // Swagger.ETH (@DiakoNFT54) reported

I'm sure there will be other providers trying to do the same worried people will cancel services due to cost of living increases. We just cancelled SKY TV as were paying £50 a month to pretty much watch channels that are available on freeview.

  • bakeliteguy Guy Roberts (@bakeliteguy) reported

@Jan_208 It really does! I have no problem watching 405 line black and white especially with vintage content. The freeview box it is attached to seems to be stuck on @TalkingPicsTV !

  • GL650_LynneG 🏍Lynne G💙 🚗+📱=💥❌ (@GL650_LynneG) reported

@RadioNightTrain @benbakerbooks Working OK on an actual 'Wireless' 📻 & Freeview 716 on TV. Don't know if GHR do a catch-up thing, but for a live quiz that probably wouldn't be much help anyway, would it. @RealKenBruce

  • FrannyJeffers72 FJ72 🇬🇧 (@FrannyJeffers72) reported

@Joketamsonswean @BertieThompso18 @CraigMurrayOrg The original post from Craig is certainly trying to suggest. If you have an issue with Scotland games being on ViaPlay (I'd much prefer they were on Sky or Freeview TV aswell) then you should really direct your anger towards UEFA and the SFA.

Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced domestic energy bills will be capped at £2,500 for two years from the start of 1 October as part of a support bill to ease cost of living. 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube
