To be honest, when you've removed the dependency of other real time tv, i cant see many people chipping in. Many will be paying just to watch their subscription service or Freeview.

  • flowergirl_lon
Sam (Flower Girl) Jennings (@flowergirl_lon) reported from Croydon, England

@GeorgeBollands @gemoore83 @BBCSport Okโ€ฆ I have Now tv so donโ€™t think I can get that but Iโ€™ll have a look. My regular freeview is crap as I donโ€™t have an aerial, only have internet streamed TV.

@AthleticsWeekly The games not on Freeview or free to air. Is it's demise. If this carries on. Major sporting events will die it's slow death. No one will bother that really matters ๐Ÿ˜”.

    Tommy D (@TomDennison12) reported

@FractalDoctor @DailyMail TV and radio is all that many elderly people have for comfort, especially living on their own with limited mobility, so yes, taking away Freeview is a bad idea. I doubt if too many 80 to 90 year olds have a fast broadband connection !

  • DavidCarrollIr1
    David Carroll (@DavidCarrollIr1) reported

I got to hear a very good service on SBN this morning (late night in the USA), about the Antichrist and when he will be arising. I am now thinking that it is after the rapture. Those of you seeking God would do well to watch SBN on Freeview 94 or elsewhere in the USA.

  • DickyTrickle
    Richard (@DickyTrickle) reported

    @anon_opin Watched it on Freeview it's ****.

  • Maxine2xs
Maxine, Duchess of Survival ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ’™ (@Maxine2xs) reported

With Freeview, if your WiFi went down, you could still watch TV. With Freely, this isn't the case. It's horrendous. Maybe I'm imagining things? I wish I was.

  • Wyfan2
The Wilder Way - Patrick Wymark Boardroom (@Wyfan2) reported

So the advantage of Freely is that unlike Freeview, when my internet goes down I also lose my TV. Technology continues to improve our lives.

  • VoteFodder
    Voting Fodder (@VoteFodder) reported

@JohnSimpsonNews @jjarichardson The BBC applies for grants to help fund its research into broadcasting technology that has contributed to developments such as Freeview and DAB digital radio. In 2017-18 it received a grant, external from the EU of โ‚ฌ1,282,331 (ยฃ1,145,572).

@cmairsy @virginmedia Zen for internet - rock solid and great customer service, not that youโ€™ll need it. But after ditching Virgin we went down the freeview route, Iโ€™m afraid.

@4doorsmorepaws ah that makes sense! never looked into whether freesat got more channels than freeview but i'm assuming it was probably just a signal thing more than anything else lol that sucks ๐Ÿ˜ญ I only remember having to that with analog tv for a while and then I guess we got our aerial fixed
